Yeah but you've still got that built in delay in the "netcode" and while to a degree it happens in any game when its atleast 3 times longer in BF4 than any other game played competitively online and 5-6x longer than most it takes a huge amount of the skill difference out of the equation when it comes down to intense man on man action and is as likely to be decided by who got on the right side of a "tick" as it is skill which IMO is a joke for competitive play.
 
Yes and no...Peeking is a prob I'll certainly agree with that but just like BF3 you have to learn how to use these things to your advantage, if you know you can peek and kill them in one burst go for it, otherwise you are just exposing yourself to being killed. Saying that tho, I can show you a couple of BF3 techniques on how to kill someone before they have even seen you so..yeah, it's nothing too new.

Vehicle / infy balance is much better in BF4 for playing 8vs8. Plus you can no longer just medic train to tank through everything.
 
I checked just after you posted it Nexus, he was banned just after that, looks like someone else was onto him too.

He didn't kill me on Golmud, think he was too scared as I was too busy nailing the rest of his team.

lol that dude xD seems the ban hammer is pretty swift! were some good rounds last night and fun convo :) actually started to be useful towards the end when I was in the AA and actually hitting people with the sniper rifle xD

Twas good fun last night, always good to get raping as a gunner in a Nexus Rolling Thunder machine. Think in two games as gunner think I must have got 60 or 70 kills and maybe less than 10 deaths lmao..Oddball knows how to roll on these maps :) makes it a turkey shoot

Generally we all sit in BL waiting for for someone to get into a game, then we jump on TS, abuse them and then join them!

Some of the regs are me, Nexus, TonyTurbo, Colesy1, twoblacklines, Sidewinder_90, Crispy, gord, MartyStonehonehouse, markpitchford.

New faces show up most days though, so stay, some don't like me and Nexus using soundbaord and leave lol

Second Assault is out on the 18th, does anyone know what time that is for GMT players? I am sitting here feeding my fibre connection pieces of chocolate in the hope it will not let me down when it comes to downloading the 3GB+ patch!

BF4 is horrible out of a skill standpoint made for kids who cant play.
it wont matter they dumbed it down either as teamwork seldom is good.
On most UK servers there is often a better team effort.

I am 50 years old and even if the skill is taken out of equation a lot with BF4 I do good with a good group and the above is from locker map.
but on some maps, I cant hit a target due to their latency is way off on distance but on closer maps that evens out a bit more. When I see someone having 5ms ping I cant hit them without spending 2 clips.

The main issue for me is customer support. Want to change BL from twoblacklines back to 86JR and it won't let me due to "invalid security password" I never entered one when I made the account... it never asked for one!

So I follow EA's official guide to getting hold of customer support to find their screenshots don't match the site they link to; customer support section is completely missing. Nowhere can I find their online customer support link for BF4, it is their for other games like Titanfall but not for BF4. They won't speak to me if I ring them up and just refer me to aforementioned link and hang up on me if I mention it is missing.

So I am stuck with it.

A friend of mines account got hacked and they told him there was nothing they could do and the solution was to buy BF4 and premium again and start from scratch. They refused to refer him to a technician who could deal with his account. They won't give refunds as the small print states you are effectively "borrowing the right to play" even if you bought the game on PC DVD, and you cannot resell it - if you buy it on DVD from say OCUK and then sell it on MM, EA could sue you for IP theft according to the small print.

All that and the game doesn't work properly, for the last few months people have effectively paid £60 to play a beta, this is also what BF4 testers have said on Reddit, off the record!

Hello,

I have a ping of around 7-15 normally and I have actually found that if I turn Utorrent on and seed something, my hitreg in game drastically improves - it ups my ping to around 60 and I guess the game compensates for my player.
 
oh yea I just remember one of my most frustrating bits last night. was sniping (woooo) and on paracel storm, running over to the D flag from the c-d connecting islands and using my mav spot a dude prone under the green demountable buildings outside D. so I get myself into a sneaky position and take aim.

BAM! one shot.... missed.....wtf? BAM! another shot, carefully aimed right at his dome....nope.... missed again.... reposition a few feet to the side.... aim for face.... BAM! only a hit marker?!?! WTF?!?!?!?!?!?! cue me firing about another 5 rounds and moving about 20-30ft to my flank to get a different angle on him, given up on the head and shoot him in the legs. so he was kinda behind the metal leg of the building but seriously dice/EA...WTF?!?! my LOS was so clear towards him he should have been dead on the first one! loved how the round before I was on rogue and managed to snipe a guy from medium-long range in the gap between two wooden boxes!!! like I saw the tiniest bit of the guy hiding, the crosshairs filled the gap between the boxes but I still hit him... guy exposed on the floor.... nope.... he got all kinds of shields :p
 
Yeah Sasso, I have clips on my shots going into the skull of players and getting nothing! Sniping for me is hit and miss, only snipe on UK servers, seems to have better reg.
