The Best Cover Ever?

The Dillinger Escape Plan are legendary for their covers! Their version of Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy with Mike Patton is the stuff of legend. They also did a truly chaotic version of GnR's My Michelle.

Their version of Come To Daddy is awful. Absolute tripe.

However, their cover of Like I Love You is sublime.

The flaming lips cover of 'Can't get you out my head'. Just kidding!

Would have to agree with the many people before and say
Jimmy's All the along the watch tower
G 'n R's live an let die is also legendary
i also love Massive Attack's version of Man Next Door

Lacuna Coil - Stars (Dubstar)

or

AFI - The Hanging Garden (The Cure)
I love AFI. But that Cure cover is utterly chronic.

Their Last Caress however...

Wonderwall - Ryan Adams, gives it a completely different feel, going from the imo childish vocals in the original and really capturing the melancholy that the song deserves

Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley, need I say more?

Those were the exact 2 I was thinking of. Both were in the OC music collection of season 1 too as a little bit of information.

Sepultura-Symptom of The Universe

Fudge Tunnel-Sunshine of Your Love

Dweezil Zappa and Ozzy Osbourne - Stayin' alive (No really)

Oh Sweatloaf and Hairway to Steven-by the Butthole Surfers not really covers just mess, but good mess
