Last couple of weeks...

Man On Wire - documentary about a french guy who walked a tight rope between the WTC in the late 70's (when they were still technically being built)...interesting story but the guy himself makes the film, really interesting!

Downfall - had this on a DVD rental, brilliant film, even had me feeling sorry for the guy towards the end! :O

Happy Go Lucky - Quite a unique film, was annoying at the start but like everybody in the film it just made me happy watching this chick being so 'Happy go lucky' :p

Also took a lady friend to see;

Seven Pounds - Rubbish. Knew what was going to happen about 15 minutes in and there were so many plot holes, so dull.

i recently saw

W.

the george bush movie, i had to check imdb about 3 times to double check that the guy playing bush is actually Josh Brolin -Goonies / No Country for Old Men / American Gangster

the film itself isn't amazing, but he played bush outstandingly, picked up all his mannerisms, even ones you barely notice :)

worth a watch
