The Best Nvidia Drivers Ever!

I was getting these whilte sparkles on a HDR map too - nuke i think. They appeared around the player models?

I thought this was just a driver issue. Combined with the problem i illustrated above do you think that this could indicate a faulty card?

Well i thought it may be driver bug too but it only happened after a few minutes use and it doesn't happen with my old 256mb 7800gtx.

I think the problem lies with memory yields and vendors shipping pre-overclocked cards which are clearly not happy at those speeds.

I got that type of corruption in bf2 once when i had 8xaa enabled, switched back to 4 and all was good.

Btw has anyone tried these drivers with F.E.A.R.? Wow the fps seems like it has doubled, the game lagged a bit for me @ 1280x1024 2xaa 4xaf, now i set it at that res with 4xaa and 8xaf and it flies along.

I used to always slap 'em on top back in the day. Now I use driver cleaner, then install them

downloaded these badboys last night, gained over 1000 points in aquamark 3, 500 in 3dmark 2001 and 3dmark 03 and 05 were no lower but seemed to perform better in a few of the tests by 2-3 fps, didnt really make a score difference tho.

NFS Most wanted has had a boost in frame rate runs much nicer....so im a rather happy boy

Hmmm Well I have gone back to a 7800GTX on my quest for a much quieter, smaller pc and I must say the newest drivers from the Nvidia site (84.20/21's) HAve really made a difference benchmark wise.

Running on the 77.50's @ 450/1250 scored me 8012

Running on the 84.20 / 21's @ 450/1250 scored me 8430.

Not a bad increase.

Will test COD2 tonight.

Cant comment yet as im still at work.

I would install the 84.21's though as they probably have bug fixes over the 84.20's.

Ill install them if i hear that there really is a noticable difference from people in here, though if its nothin much ill keep my current ones
