As I'm fairly regular on here, I have picked up on some of our in-jokes and understand most of them. I'm interested to know if they are our own traditions from OcUK or if they came from memes? The 9 examples I've picked up are:
1. Worst "I need to get laid" thread ever or Worst... [insert something] thread ever, usually related to the OP.
2. In before the lock. - normally posted on a contraversial thread before a Don locks it.
3. clap.jpg, jesus.jpg etc - instead of saying congrats (or an action word), they put e.g. clap.jpg as if it's a filename.
4. Smash that pasty. - meaning to have sex, seems to be written on here a lot.
5. Quoting someone, then modifying it and writing fixed underneath it.
6. This thread needs hovis. - I'm not sure what this means.
7. Thread delivers. - usually when a thread becomes comical.
8. People who write This and +1 - to concur with the previous poster.
9. Spec me... - probably came from our hardware forums (spec me a new PC), but has also made its way over here.
Then we have facepalm and the thing where they write 1. do something, 2. ?????, 3. Profit, but I'm pretty sure that they're memes as they also appear on Dramatica a lot.
