The Best (OCUK) Memes?

Brony, "I am not a shop", and pancake were all excellent.

Mac10 in under 3 minutes, lolkwerk, and the time everyone used their usernames to sign of their posts are all noteworthy.

I don't remember 'broadband', before my time?

How about...

I started a thread many moons back called OcUK traditions. Didn't know that they were called memes back then - I just knew them as fads or catch-phrases. I listed a few of the traditions / inside jokes that have been posted on here, then I had some replies adding more to the list.

As I'm fairly regular on here, I have picked up on some of our in-jokes and understand most of them. I'm interested to know if they are our own traditions from OcUK or if they came from memes? The 9 examples I've picked up are:

1. Worst "I need to get laid" thread ever or Worst... [insert something] thread ever, usually related to the OP.

2. In before the lock. - normally posted on a contraversial thread before a Don locks it.

3. clap.jpg, jesus.jpg etc - instead of saying congrats (or an action word), they put e.g. clap.jpg as if it's a filename.

4. Smash that pasty. - meaning to have sex, seems to be written on here a lot.

5. Quoting someone, then modifying it and writing fixed underneath it.

6. This thread needs hovis. - I'm not sure what this means.

7. Thread delivers. - usually when a thread becomes comical.

8. People who write This and +1 - to concur with the previous poster.

9. Spec me... - probably came from our hardware forums (spec me a new PC), but has also made its way over here.

Then we have facepalm and the thing where they write 1. do something, 2. ?????, 3. Profit, but I'm pretty sure that they're memes as they also appear on Dramatica a lot.

Just remembered another classic... geoffry the crab. I guess it wasn't a meme though. Still, probably the funniest thing I have ever seen on OCUK:

:o :D

Edit: makes me laugh out loud every time.

The last meme I actively LOL'd at was the whole "serion" thing.

Was meant to be "serious" but the OP mistyped and we ended up with a whole week of people quoting and using the word whenever and wherever they could until a mod issued a decree "use this word and you are banned"

Edit: appears that the plural is still filtered :D

Oh, and any thread with Avec Dino makes me chuckle.
