The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

I think that's down to creative not building anyone to be ready to replace cena.

If it weren't for nxt I'd probably give up on wwe

While the creative is certainly extremely stale, I would still put a large part of that down to Vince. He still micromanages everything to do with the creative, gets the final sign off on everything. A lot of times RAW gets major rewrites the day of the show because Vince changes his mind on something. So until he goes and H gets control, there's not much that's going to change.

What are the odds of a HHH Vs Sting rematch for the title?

Zero, Sting's injury is the same one that took out Edge, and Edge was both younger and healthier than Sting was.

Shinsuke Nakamura debuts at NXT Takeover Dalas, April 1st. Hype!

Anyone bothering with the TNA tour this year? I made the spontaneous decision to go to Manchester last night and for the cost of £17.50 for the ticket it wasn't too bad although the show dragged at the start of the 3rd hour (Of a 4 hour taping with the same ~20... roster).

I think NXT doing a tour in December hurt ticket sales for this somewhat, TNA couldn't even fill around 4/5000 seats. The 21,000 seat arena was already heavily sectioned off, not that I would ever expect them to fill that. :p

An heads up.

Nine Legends is now released.

From David Sinnot, the same guy who put together the amazing "Bloodtsained Memoirs".

http://www.ninelegendsfilm.com/

In the year 2050 a young wrestling fan is less than thrilled to be spending the night at his Grandfather’s house. That is until he learns that his Grandfather once travelled the world interviewing some of the biggest wrestling stars of all time.

Featuring exclusive interviews with Bill Goldberg, Bret Hart, Mike Tyson, Chris Jericho, Dynamite Kid, Amy Dumas, Rob Van Dam, Ted Dibiase and Randy Couture, Nine Legends profiles one of the greatest ensembles of wrestling talent ever put together.

Through their own words, relive the defining moments of the heroes you grew up with.

$5 for a stream. I will be watching tonight.

Watching Breaking Ground with all these ex-NFL players got me thinking, I'd love to see Zlatan join the WWE one day :D. I means he's pretty much there, he has the name, character, look and the martial arts experience already :p.

Yes indeed... Saw the trailer and... Errrugh! I am no male model but boy they years have not been kind to her. She actually looks like the chubby neighbour getting banged by the postman. Not nice...

Pretty bad, it says a lot when she sounds more like a man than the guys in the video. She sounds like someone that's been on 100 a day for the last 35 years.

So it seems there's been a clearout at NXT! :(

Marcus Louis, Sylvester LeFort and Bull Dempsey have been released from their contracts :(

Unfortunate, but they weren't exactly doing much there. Can't remember the last time I saw the first two, and Bull-fit was over for a couple of weeks before people remembered that he couldn't really wrestle that well and he was dead again.

Sucks, but when you have to make space for the eventual return of Hideo, the debut of Nakamura and so on, someone has to go.

That said, what are people's opinions on post-wrestlemania callups from NXT? I can see Joe going without a doubt.

Can't say I'm surprised on the releases. Not that Dempsey was ever particularly good but the second they absolutely buried him and fed him to Corbin it was done.

As for call ups I think Joe and Balor are givens at this stage, even if they want to keep Joe in NXT largely as a trainer with his in ring stuff trailing out (read something along those lines a while back but don't know if that is actually/ever was the case) they need to let him an AJ have a good long match on the main roster.
