The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

That is terrible and gringe worthy, my god how did they think that was a good idea.

I thought it was the best thing In wrestling I've seen in ages. They really had fun with it. Wrestling is ridiculous by nature, it is best when everyone embraces that imo!

And you can't say it wasn't a good idea. It was like TNAs highest rated segment ever or something.

How can anyone not love the image of Broken Matt Hardy pushing a ladder in to Jeff's neck in the corner whilst all the time shouting 'DALEEETE!, DALEEETE!', or Jeff shielding himself from a barrage of fireworks with a dustbin lid?!

If this wasn't meant to be a main event level feud this would be genius.

It's a shame it's going to end up being the focus of the inevitable "Death of TNA" book.

How so? This has created more interest in TNA than anything in the last couple of years. And this isn't a Russo level of car crash. Matt has created a compelling character, my only question is where is this going to go now that Brother Nero is gone, it's not really like he can transition the focus to another face that easily.

It will be interesting to see how the Lesnar doping affects things. Talks of him not being able to perform at Summerslam(I don't know the ins and out tbh)

Also, I am going for this for General managers-

RAW- Broken Matt Hardy w Senor Benjamin as enforcer
Smackdown- Brother Nero

You have been watching too much Steve and Larsen! ;)

Tough to say. Heel Steph will probably over rule Mick a lot I figure whereas Bryan/Shane seem to be more on the same page (give the fans what they want) - will be interesting to see. Unless of course Bryan goes down the more Regal style....

Having watch the draft this morning I'm not sure how I feel about a few things.

The Authority was boring and now we have more GM/Commissioner time on every show.

The tag divisions on each show are now really weak. Likewise the women. I'd rather have seen Tag on one show and women on another to give enough depth.

6 NXT picks permitted in the rules and we have 7? Also from a kayfebe perspective how can you justify at least 3 of those picks considering the talent available on the NXT roster. Makes the GM's look stupid..

- Broken up the club for no real reason.
- Carmella on the opposite show to Enzo & Cass.
- Ziggles and big banter Baron on the same show.

Just three of the mind numbingly stupid decisions last night, and that's not even talking about any of the other big names.

I know that's what they'll be going for but I was hoping it would happen differently than them just being drafted to the same show.

Anyone else feel the NXT picks make their debuts much more anti-climactic? Love a good shock debut, especially with Finn and he's teased it so much in the past you just wouldn't have guessed when he would have shown up.

Cringed through the whole thing. The moment that sums it up for me was when Shane looked mad and tore up his list after RAW drafted Enzo and Cass... Maybe he shouldn't have picked Baron Corbin before them!
