The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

I loved most but the Steph and HHH along with the vince one seemed too cocky and big headed. This one along with Brock and edge/Christian have been superb.

The wwe needs a edgy faction and bc could be the new nwo. Please don't let it get out of hand! A dominating faction that can back it up in the ring.

Nah there was always jobbers in nwo. Too many after a while that's why the faction works. Domination by numbers with the bigger stars but they dominate certain members to make them still look good so the payoff comes with the bigger stars of the faction.

Superstar Wrestlers on bbc Iplayer

When Greg James was younger he dreamt of being a superstar wrestler (and we have the home movies to prove it). Fast forward 20 years and that’s not looking particularly likely... but if you did fancy yourself as the next WWE World Heavyweight champion, how would you go about it?

With the help of WWE superstars Chris Jericho, Charlotte, Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Enzo Amore, Big Cass, Stephanie McMahon and many more, Greg goes on a mission to find out.

He heads to New York to go behind the scenes of wrestling to learn just what it takes to make it to the top of a business like no other. He also catches up with Baron Corbin and the next generation of superstars in WWE’s developmental brand NXT at Download Festival.

What will happen when Greg enters the unpredictable world of professional wrestling and does he have what it takes to be a king of the ring?

I don't know if it'll be as good as the one when they followed Balor around in his last couple of months before he joined nxt, actually with Greg James involved it definitely wont be. If you've not seen it hopefully it's still on iplayer.

Why is everyone discussing this WWE junk when the best storyline has just played out in TNA?

Tl;dr for those who haven't followed the product. The hardy's had been feuding on and off in THA for ages. Matt had the title, was always surrounded by his wife and son, as well as a couple of stooges (Brodus Clay & Rockstar spud), and cutting promos about how he was the best. Then he lost the belt to Drew Galloway. And later Jeff beat him. Naturally this broke his mind, and now he thinks that the only reason he lost is that he is so smart he overthought everything.

He started talking in a weird accent because that's how geniuses' talk, referring to himself as Broken Matt, and Jeff as Brother Nero, putting a weird coloured streak in his hair. And he's basically tortured by his own intelligence.

Now, with that out of the way there's a couple of videos that are must watch. The first was posted last page, the contract signing between them:

(And the incidental special edition made by EC3 which is also great.

But the main thing is the final match. Cementing this as easily the best storyline of 2016. The final deletion.

It's must-see wrestling.

I still can't decide if it was good or awful, can't not love the HUGE Roman Candle that Jeff pulled out, but it was like some trippy film scene, so so odd.

Why has Matt Hardy turned South African; "You may only win by pinfall or... zebmission" Hahahahahaha. Jeff taking out drones with a guitar before Matt's face projects out of one?!!? It was pretty unique. Has anyone seen the other one that some of the TNA guys did in their hotel with the guy with toilet roll stuck to his head?
