The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Watching the recorded show and I'm just about half way through. I hope they address the random cut outs from when they are meant to be commentating about something but the audio cuts out and the subtitles is displayed with what they said live.

Caught up watching RAW. The Intuit Dome looked like a great arena to present the first RAW on Netflix as gave it PLE atmosphere. The drone shots were fun and the production levels have really stepped up over the past year to make it more slick. I usually watch highlights only but seeing the full show you can see how the stars work together to pull off their moves and progress the matches whilst keeping safe.

Some of the decisions are questionable on the show but wont spoil it but mainly Rock dropping his persona, Hogan coming to promote his beer and New Day trying to get more heat.

Main thing is I already have Netflix and can dip in and out and also watch the PLEs.

Highlight of the night for me

It was a decent show but I think Paul had slightly overbooked the show somewhat, too many big matches got lost in the shuffle with pretty much all the big names bar Cody being featured. I also didn't like that 3 of the matches had wrestlers hitting their finishes twice/back to back which kinda of makes them look week defeating the purpose of a finisher.

CM and Seth being pushed to the end was way too short and a good match but could have been saved for another time or booked earlier? I kind of get the order but regardless was a fun show and some good storylines to extend into RR and WM.

I think putting the ultra conservative, demonstrably racist Hogan in front of an ultra liberal LA crowd, for any reason - let alone to promote his beer - was super questionable. I guess they thought his legendary wrestling career would overcome the heat, but obviously not.

I enjoyed the show for the most part, disappointed that Penta got bumped, especially considering how garbage the Drew/Jey match was.
