The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Raw was wild. Enjoyed it more than mania tbh.

Vaquer really is something special even now, fairly early in her career. Can you imagine how great she's gonna be in five years? Ten? Been a while since I was this excited about a new talent.

She is certainly over shadowing Roxanne who has been in WWE a lot longer and even Giulia hype with WWE has kind of died down.
I keep seeing the wrestling community saying WWE fans only haven't seen the best yet..which I'm hoping we will soon enough.

WWE Unreal is a weird one

On the one hand, of course we know it's all fake and I have always been interested in the behind the scenes stuff, as far back as when Foley released his first book in the attitude era.

But that really looks like it's just going to show how everything is decided. Footage from within the writers room, how talent are involved in the decisions, how match producers are reacting in gorilla to matches etc etc.

Well it looked like Roxanne Perez didn't want to participate in the sexualised move from Stephanie Vaquer during their match on NXT.
She shouted at Roxanne to bend her knee near the end and right after she looked annoyed.
Hendry making a comeback on NXT it seems.

Good Smackdown. Had a feeling Vega was about to get a push, though disappointing to see Chelsea drop the belt because she was just so much fun.

Really enjoyed the Fraxiom debut.

Cracking TLC match, surprising for a weekly show.

I was surprised to see Vega get the US title, Chelsea is fantastic in-ring worker in her own right check out her match with Penta in triple A to see what she can do. Personally I thought Chelsea could have moved onto a program with Jade and they could have had them feud over the title for a few months but it looks like they want to stretch out the Naomi/Jade storyline for a bit longer (although that kind of defeats the purpose of having a grudge match at Wrestlemaina).

Great promo work by Cena and Orton although it's slightly jarring to see these two working in opposite roles (Cena as the heal and Orton as the face), having the dynamics mixed up helps make freshen up their rivalry which was very stale the time they met in the ring.

I could see a fatal 4 way for smackdown women title match for backlash or another boring tag match.
If fatal 4 way: Tiffany Vs jade Vs Naomi Vs Nia
If tag well Tiffany + jade Vs Nia + Naomi.
Bianca said she is back as a smackdown competitor but out injured from Wrestlemania with her fingers.
Charlotte is probably going to be used to elevate the division somehow or she will make a comeback after title match.

I don't think randy going to win it at backlash, way too soon, maybe Cena final ple. Or it could even be cm punk or Cody comes back.

Congrats to zelina, hopefully the other mid cards will have a chance.

The tlc was fun to watch.

Feel bad for la Gaza taking another L but fraxiom are fun to watch.

Alexa and Wyatt sicks will probably make a comeback at some point..

More NXT stars are getting moved up.

WWE dropped the ball not having that TLC match at Mania, as much as I like the War Raiders and New Day the Smackdown teams knocked it out the park.

I saw that Tiffany/Jade match and it was hard to watch in places. Jade was falling over awkwardly, throwing kicks and punches at the air and getting her timings in a muddle. She may look the part but she's a long, long way off looking like she belongs in the he main event picture based on her in-ring work.

Somehow the Vegas crowd or netflix or whatever mess up the rock has done has caused crowds to boo face wrestlers and heels are getting cheered.

If we're being honest the crowd going into "sing along with the theme" mode has caused this. It's like the whole heel\face dynamic is missing because the crowds are doing this.

I mean what exactly is rollins meant to be? He's meant to be a heel but the casual viewer would never know that going by the singalong crowd reaction to that theme of his which is the most random assortment of utter crap ive ever heard.

I think they missed a trick by not changing up John Cena's theme once he turned heal.

I feel bad for Dakota Kai, she's just got back from a major injury appeared a few times on TV and then seemingly got benched.

Most of those names aren't a surprise especially Brian Strowman, he's a shadow of his 2020 peak. Pretty obvious after the beating he took from Jacob Fatu he was firmly now just enhancement talent. Cora Jade is a surprise though, I thought she would be one of the new crop of talented women coming up from NXT.
