Slightly O/T but if there are any WWE/WWF fans in the Manchester N/W area, Brett The Hitman Hart is at Waterstones in the Trafford Centre this evening doing a book signing. 6.30 I believe.

What I'd give to hear his music on the WWE again, even if he was just a Manager for a wrestler!
 
Well that went shockingly flat at the end. Unless the WWE knows something I don't, SD got both shafted and blessed at the same time.

RAW

- MVP
- Big Show
- HHH
- Miz
- Maryse

Smackdown

- Melina
- CM Punk
- Kane
- Y2J
- Rey Mysterio

ECW

- Kozlov

Shafted because they lost a top carder (HHH) without getting what I would consider one in response. But a blessing because there's massive potential in what they did get if Vince decides to roll with it. CM Punk and Jericho have shown that they can carry a strap without any problems at all, and Kane is very long overdue a push as well. Utilised correctly, and without Vickie there to put Edge in every single title match, this could be a very good move.

Oh, and RAW fans, enjoy having the same damn champion for the rest of the year. :p
 
There's still the supplemental draft to come so some surprises could happen there even if past experience does show that it's generally just the midcarders that get moved
 
Yeah you could do worse than Batista. I'd take him over Cena or HHH. Cena irritates me for some reason and HHH, whilst a good talent, just hogs the belt totally and never lets anyone else have a go with it.

The change i'm most excited about is Kane. Oh what i'd give to see him get a title run, or him and Undertaker make a tilt at the UTT belts. :D

I have to disagree, Batista is just horrible imo. I'd take Cena or trips anydays and i bloody hate cena haha :D

On the flip side though i am quite excited about the Kane switch like yourself! Can't see him getting the belt on SD though as super Cena has it, but tag titles with Taker would be perfecto. BOD theme and entrance is always top class also :D

Regardless, Kane needs and deserves a push big time. I'd give anything to see him get a burnt face storyline, 3-4 months off to get in shape and stick his old mask and attire back on, have no word of his return leaked like so many have been, and return just like in the attitude era and raise hell!!
 
The tag titles are all but worthless now, as we hardly have any tag teams.
They need to reform a few tag teams, either reform DX, or do Taker + Kane, or HHH + Batista, then do a proper Legacy tag team and so on .. While the Colons are funny and decent, they just have no real competition now - and haven't had any "big guns" in the tag team area for a while.
 
Hopefully being on SD will give Kane a new lease of life he's a great performer, solid athlete, can adapt his styles pretty well and never really has a bad match, just gets the lame duck angles (ie: Katy Vick!), he could really shine but he is nearing retirement, give the big guy a run with the belt, do something good with him, he still has the ability to work a good match with pretty much anyone on the roster.

WWE should think about a possible Brian kendrick/Shelton Benjamin team, or even reform (again) WGTT, move Nattie Neidhart over the Raw, let her finally go loose and show what she can do.

Edge beating Cena then a programme with Kane for the title would really work for me, as would seeing MVP defending against some top tier candidates with the US title and making that title properly worthwhile whilst showing what MVP can do.
