Quirky characters and more episodes, this series has had technically 4 episodes as this one was a spin off more or less. Very interesting one none the less.

Strange but somewhat Cool episode this week.

What's the official deal on spoilers? Can we discuss tomorrow without using tags? Is 24 hours after an episode airs ok?

The leaks about the naboo fighter were right. I'm guessing next weeks episode will be split between mando and fett if they go the route of showing him visiting grogu. Was funny how the gift he got made when it was wrapped looked like grogus head, was immediately noticable before they focused on it later in the episode.

Wonder if Luke might make an appearance in the forthcoming fight.

This mandalorian thing about the helmet is somewhat dumb, they don't even make the distinction about any living thing seeing him without the helmet as they did in season 1, in this it's simply have you EVER taken your helmet off. So eating, sleeping, washing etc etc all to be done while wearing a helmet.

The rules state tags are required until “after the episode has aired in the UK”.

Given this is on streaming, I may need to raise this with the moderating team but I’d suggest using judgement and maybe using tags for a while yet.

An interesting protagonist, a beautiful setting, cool story and a bounty hunter doing bounty hunter things (who also keeps his helmet on for more than 3 ******* seconds. Or the fact that it felt like a completely different show :p

I’d agree but Mando took his helmet off when he stormed that base with Bill Burr. Even if they made that distinction, he lost that argument when he let an entire empire officer’s mess see him :p

Could be argued he had to do that part of his mission of getting Grogu back to the Jedi. The helmet thing makes no sense as they've already flip flopped on it vs season 1. He's apparently no longer mandalorian so the helmet might be off more in future.

Cool.

My suggestion, 24 hours mandatory tags on spoilers for streaming shows that are released worldwide with weekly episodes. That would easily cover all the marvel and star wars shows, which seem to be the only show specific threads with any activity.

nice to see Mando again but this just felt like an episode added on to BoBF that doesn't add anything to Boba's story. They could have easily skipped to Mando joining to help fight on Bobas side (which will be next week anyway) and showed this whole episode as the premiere for S3 of Mandalorian as a flashback or intro. Anyway, great episode, just the wrong series!

I think I criticised a few earlier episodes for being too flashback heavy and not moving forward on the present day story. This episode does the same really as apart from the last minute with Fennec nothing relevant happened.

Anyway, cool sword, cool droids, cool ring planet, cool brooding under the helmet,cool shiny armour and cool hints towards S3 of Mando!

So that’s where the budget went…

Also hard to say best of the series because clearly this is an entire Mando episode with all the $$$ involved that’s been dropped in, although perhaps this signals an upturn in quality with the remaining eps… the bar was so low up to now.
