Hate to break the news to you but that ship has always been a firespray class starship. It’s just that Boba’s had the nickname ‘slave 1’ in the same way the falcon is actually a corellian light freighter

I hope they don't. They completely ruined it with the Rey/Ren storyline but the whole Skywalker thing is pretty integral to Star Wars and should have had a proper end to it but the EU carried on the Skywalker story well (generally).

Not sure if true but read something about it being named Slave 1 as it was just a tool for which he had no emotional attachment, his subsequent ships were Slave II, III and so on.
