Rubbish episode, majority episode pew pew.

Cad was wasted.

Boba only established his skill at the end.

Grogu should be sent back.

No dialogue at the end? Suddenly in space?
 
It felt a bit “lost”, in its identity.

At least the mandalorian knew what it wanted to be. This felt very bipolar… some episodes (eg the Tuscans) were excellent as it added some backstory, whereas some episodes (eg the first Mando one) just felt out of place.
 
There isn't material for a 2nd season, they were running on fumes for the first. Book of Boba Fett... post-it note of Baba Fett more like.

Since I'm here, another bugbear is Ming-Na Wen, she's awful. She's playing the exact same character as in Agents of Shield.

Nothing odd about thinking two episodes of a much superior show was better than this drivel :p.

It's a shame that two seasons of Mandalorian have been made completely and utterly useless with the payoff being...that.
 
Just finished watching it, wtf were the mods biker gang all about!?

The way they go about claiming jabba's throne and territories made him look like some tiny gangster.

Getting fed up of the wild wild west vibe as well, outside of the mandalorian episode where he tries to find the forge woman it never felt like star wars.

Disappointed overall.

Why were they getting desperate? They didnt react to twitter comments about some people thinking it was lacking and suddenly thought, "damn we better just have a few episodes with Mando to get the interest back". The story was written, it was filmed, edited and then released. Personally I thought as a short story it was good, not great but good. I took it as a chapter in a book. I will assume there will be another series, another chapter no?

The episodes are filmed well in advance of them airing. They didn't look at the viewing figures, or what fans were saying, and then suddenly decide to film a couple of episodes at short notice featuring Mando.

Indeed, these were all filmed and edited last year, probably had some effects tweaks prior to release but that's about it.
