Goddamn that looks nice ^^

I've always wondered - do you have to wax after using SRP? I ask because on the bottle it says it contains protective sealants etc and i get mad water beading after using it alone.

I asked on detailingworld before, and was recommended to finish it off with Extra Gloss Protection. Seems to work well, someone even sent me half a bottle of it that they didn't manage to sell.

Pollen's a bitch, eh?
Not as bad as tree sap though.

Never used a jetwash in my life before Easter. Did it 4 times in 2 weeks over the holidays..

i think they called Iceberg Silver mate
Thanks, it seems you're right! :)
Silver cars are depressing for a good shine, i was hoping dark grey was going to be better but its not really, plus im very lazy which i realise could be holding me back :)

Definitely! Spent all day Thursday giving the motor a good foam, shampoo, clay and wax with a few dressings. It's a bit sparklier than it was but reflection is still bare minimum. So depressing :p

Filthy again though after 2 motorway trips.

Did 400 miles today and the front end of the van was pitted with blood and guts. Took it to tesco car wash and washed the whole van with just water and it came up gleaming, didn't need any detergent at all, still beading, well impressed :)

Thanks - This was a quick wash, the EGP normally goes on after the SRP but I saw someone mention Aqua Wax so thought I'd give it a bash.

The normal deep clean session involves 2 snowfoams, a clay bar, SRP, EGP, a wax of some description and then wiped clean with a quick detailer...

For the record, very impressed with the aqua wax, hoping for some rain so I can compare the level of beading to what I normally see with a deep clean.

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a polish that is designed for plastics - specifically the headlights on my MX5 - they are pretty scratched / scuffed up! My mechanic used some stuff on them a few years ago and they came up a treat but have now gone back to how they were.

Thanks

Clean! For about an hour anyway.

Hello,

Just about to order some PoorBoys white wax after hearing some good things about it.

Can anyone reccomend some reasonably priced MF cloths? Also a wheel brush?

The top of my high level brake light on my s2000 is swirled and scratched quite bad, would using scratch x on it improve it at all?

Cleaned my new GT4 a few weeks ago, looked lovely back then... not looking so nice now though!

But I've now somehow managed to get a few scratches on the front wing (I think from a bush down my road sticking out a bit). I don't have a DA machine so do everything by hand... the scratches aren't deep by any means, but would you guys reckon AG SRP is pretty good for filling little surface scratches or would you recommend another product? Thanks :)
