From DW, they recommended getting some Flash with FeBreeze general purpose stuff. I found some lemon stuff floating around, watered it down and yep works a treat and sooo cheap too! :)

Sorry, only just seen this, wasn't being rude

Will give this a go tomorrow, thank you! :)

I had to celotape my window and after getting it fixed I took the tape off. So now I have hidous tape marks that simply wont come off! Anyone got any links of products which will be able to get tape marks off? cheers

A tiny bit of white spirit.

On offer all the time too.

What do you guys use for getting into those hard to reach parts? I.E I have loads of moss in the bootlid, can't get into it with a cloth starting to get on my nerves a lot now!

Pretty dark outside but tried to get some more...

Absolutely stunning, is that yours as well as the 182?

I just took the 182 for it's first proper speedy spin since the re-map. Was 100% money well spent. Drives amazingly now.

One thing I do notice with the 182 though (same before the re-map) that if you don't keep steering wheel in your hands solidly at 65mph plus in 2nd gear it develops a mind of its own.

Unfortunately not, its my parents car.

You can't do 65+ in 2nd gear :p And if you mean when accelerating, that would be torque steer, and if you mean at a steady speed, that would mean your tracking is out, but would happen at any speed.

Get yourself some envy detailing brushes, they do not cost much. Spray a load of apc on it and agitate with one of the brushes job done ;). You could also use a soft bristle paint brush.

Going to have to wash the car tomorrow. Got back from my dad's tonight through country lanes and the front end is like a massacre of bugs and flies. The wing mirrors is covered in it!

Gross!

You're getting the 'clean car' malfunction. Once you get it, there's no going back!

So frustrated. Went to town on my car for the first time yesterday till it was too hot to continue, got everything except the wax done, was really happy with the results.

On way to work, pillock with a clipboard stood by a traffic management sign signals the start of about a mile of grit and stone all over the A4 on a 50 mph stretch, meaning everyone had slowed down to 20. Every ping and crack I heard made me wince and now my car is covered in rubbish again. Felt like running the **** over.

I've found lots of newly tar-gravelled streets on my commute which annoyed me slightly. I'll give it another wash at the weekend as I'm off for two weeks so hopefully the car won't move much!
