Gave it a good clean today, it was filthy. A coat of snowfoam and then an AG+snowfoam mix which sticks really well, then 2bm with the foam still on. Only polished the top half with AG Ultra Deep Shine as the bottom really needs a detar and clay which I didn't have time for. When the tyre dressing dried it looked ace but it was too dark for a photo :)

Did you rinse after the first snow foam? reads like you washed the mucky snow foam around the car? Or did you just choose to spray your shampoo on with a second coat of snow foam?

Rinsed off first snowfoam, spray on foam/poo mix, hand wash with shampoo while foam/poo is on, rinse with pressure washer :)

It's annoying isn't it. After I spent an entire Saturday doing my car (i.e. the pics I posted recently) it started raining after. No big deal really, as the water just falls off. I did however take my dad's car to the pub that evening as I didn't wanna get mine covered in muddy water and crap so soon after washing it :o :D

You think that is bad, I washed my car friday, hadn't taken it out since, got home today and its covered in saw dust from my dad doing work!!! Not a happy chappy, didn't even have a chance to move it.

What do you guys use to make your tires nice and black, slick, wet looking?

Tried back 2 black spray but doesn't seem very good.

You get to watch the beading :)

Megs Endurance Tyre Gel. Don't get this on the face of the tyre as you'll have the arse end sliding all over the place.

I've just got a new car and the colour of it is "Toyota Super Red". It is more affectionately known as "Super Pink", as it has a reputation for the colour fading. This car has already been resprayed once, so I'm looking for some product that would help prevent oxidisation/paint fading.

I'm also running out of shampoo, polish and wax. What is generally considered to be the best products out there, especially on a red car (if it makes any difference)?

I’m looking to spend up to £50.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

Gave my car a wash, clay and wax today. The wheels are such a bitch to clean!!!

I noticed that I've lost a M sport sticker on one of the wheels. Been looking on ebay for some replacements... £4.85 for 4 stickers!!! :(

How does the Bilberry wheel cleaner stuff work? Do you dilute some in a bucket and then just dip your wheel brush in/use a cloth/sponge? ... or do you put it in a trigger spray so that you don't have to dilute each time you use it?

Dilute Bilberry up to 1:10 I believe, and put it in a foaming trigger spray to get the best use out of it! I find that one trigger bottle does 2 washes. I then agitate with a hand mitt and pressure wash off.

I chuck it in a sprayer (doesn't have to be foaming though), spray all 4 wheels then go back to the first and use a wheel brush on it. Takes seconds per wheel to get the guff off.

Wet the wheel first and bilberry performs better (than applying dry).
