Ok a n00b question..

How likely am I to do some damage to my hands from the vibrations on a DAS-6 from a whole days use of a DA? Does damage usually occur after months/years of use?

take the seals off them and use a tiny bit so they aren't new ? :p

Damage usually occurs while you are doing it, and press too hard and stay too long on the same point.

Keep the thing moving, follow one of the guides on DW and you will be fine. DA polishers aren't nearly as deadly as rotary ones.

Ive finally gotten to grips with Farecla G6, i havent got any pics, but i had some really badly painted panels, laquer peel and general uneven ness in the paint and scuffed and scratched panels, got the G6 on a pad with my silverline and tried to work it in normally, but it just dried out too quick. Then a lad down the road suggested i really wet the pad, and my god did it work well, i really got a fantastic gloss to the paint and didnt even need to go over with final polish. But it made a damn mess, white specs everywhere, and i mean everywhere, which is a bugger on a dark car grrr.

But Its the 1st time ive managed to really get some great results on crap paintwork, realy impressed with G6.Tried it on some plastic pitted lamp lenses too, bought them up spangly aswell:)

Damage to my hands Rob from the vibrations not to my paint :p

Had my first go with my DAS-6 yesterday. I didn't find the vibration that bad.

I didn't see much improvement either, better but not great. Mind I didn't strip the wax off from last week, I just washed and started polishing. Paint feels great though, only did the bonnet, it takes ages.

Also waxed my new wheels, hopefully will help them stay clean.

I checked out 2 new products today, Astonish anti fog glass cleaner and spray n shine detailer.

For £1 each they're a bargain and I honestly can't tell the difference between these and Fast Glass + Meg's Speed Detailer/AG Detailing spray which cost £7 more each.

So I made the mistake of parking under some trees yesterday and now have a load of lovely tiney spots all over the car - what do i need to do to get rid? will a normal wash (Zaino 7) do it or will i need to clay?

Just do a normal wash, warm water in the shampoo bucket does the trick fine, just you may need to scrub with the mitt a bit more vigorously than normal.

How is this pressure washer? Don't really want to spend more than £100. Would it be compatible with some of the better known snow foam lances?

That would be fine I would imagine. The Karcher pressure washers have a generic fitting for attachments. There is a different fitting for their 'professional' range.

As for the lance I got mine from CYC and can't fault it. Was around £50 IIRC.

Every snow foam lance can be ordered with a karcher attachment. Karcher are the most ubiquitous make when it comes to pressure washers.

Whats the best wax for my space grey E92? Ive got Poorboys natty blue but I want something easier to apply that gives a wet look and a deep shine. Been looking at this, what do you think?

How dark a grey is it? Collinite 915 might work well, worked a treat on my Black E46.

Get yourself a Nilfisk C120, meant to be good for £90.

Where from?

Gave it a good clean today, it was filthy. A coat of snowfoam and then an AG+snowfoam mix which sticks really well, then 2bm with the foam still on. Only polished the top half with AG Ultra Deep Shine as the bottom really needs a detar and clay which I didn't have time for. When the tyre dressing dried it looked ace but it was too dark for a photo :)
