Can't you just do all your bits, go over it with a mitt and then use a watering can to get rid of suds and dry? Or just take your bucket and wash mitt to the jetwash and do it all on site.
Just use the chuffing hose, who's going to say anything?
What does everyone recommend for putting badges back on? I was thinking 3M velcro?
Any experience of DIY attempts at small dent/ding removal? Is it really some dark art?
What's a good way of getting disc brakes looking good again? I'm aware simply using them will clean them to some extent, but in this case that doesn't work; they're covered in a thick, black sludge that just won't come off easily without hard work.
After a bit of scrubbing, one part looks a bit better (although still pretty bad), but there's no way I'm sitting there hours doing all four. Surely there must be an easier and quicker way of getting the dust/sludge/stuff off and getting it looking nicer than what I can manage (see pic)?![]()
Didn't even get all the gunk off
How can I get the sticky thick glue off?
