i hate it when its so damn hot you cant rinse your car off and dry it without water marks forming

the water beads too quickly for washing int he warm

Yup!

Looking fwd though, I have decided to try another shampoo to see what it's like and I supose it's a good idea to match wax/polish brand with shampoo so decided to try this which was recommended in a 2008 roundup on ae mag. AG says the shampoo extends the effects of super resin polish when using this AG shampoo which can not be a bad thing :)

they would say that though lol i had a 1L bottle for a year. didnt finish it, and unfortunately it went strange and separated. it cleaned nicely enough, but my brother reconed it washed off his turtle was products so we stopped using it

Eh! this week the sun has been showing its face here at like 8am!

you said pm :D also that autoglym bodywash is rubbish, mrk if you wanna come round and have a look at my collection take some for some testing one day give us a shout, much better than a lot of this autoglym stuff you're using :D

Long long day for me too, finished just before dinner. And i only just finished claying.

spent most the time with an all purpose degreaser spray under the bonnet and going round snroof, doors, and boot. Then did my first clay which was easy and made a big difference.

megs gold polish and collonite to do tomorrow, then interior to finish with before train bk to london. its goin to look soo special for such an old classic and will spam pics n herel

Is that Halfords polisher any good? How much?

TBH mate we have £400 polishers at work that i often use. This is far more forgiving and a lot lighter. it costs £29.99 with a applicator pad and a polishing pad.

As for the results i think the picture says it all. I was very impressed at how quick i got used to it and would highly recommend it.

I use a similar Halfords polisher for my car(as it is red I need to polish regularly) and it certainly makes polishing a lot quicker. It is quite chunky so it can be hard, or indeed, impossible to get to certain areas.

Well worth the money though.
