No, that's a pad for machine polishers. This is what you want, although they sell Meguiars ones in Halfords if you're desperate for them this weekend.
Also, that's a drying towel for drying the water off the car. Whilst it would work it's not really soft enough, you're better off with a buffing towel like this.
The polishing/buffing ones tend to be softer and have a thicker pile. The ones you posted are 'Waffle Weave' and whilst ok for drying they're a little too hard to buff. They're more like a tea towel compared to a bath towel.
I just spent the last 5 hours cleaning my ST, used Chemical Guys, snow foam then Max Suds, 2in1 polish, and hardcore carnuba wax, my god im so tired, I will post pics in the morn. but by god it brings the paint up nicely
The ones you posted originally, the Sonus der Wunder drying towels are fine mate. From the same place their own branded ones are actually made by Eurow and are pretty decent too. There's also the Miracle Dryer from them which is good as good as the others.
Tried this Zymol today, its not great tbh. I used a full cap in 8 liters of water and it lathered less than the megs stuff. I might try 2 caps full next time, i doubt it'll remove the collinite.
i tried some simoniz polish/wax today, nicely impressed considering the price. goes on and off well, comes off cleanly. as a light light polish its great. cant tell how it protects yet, but i use a decidated sealant anyway
