Why do you constantly buy so much random stuff? I don't get it.

You must have so much random stuff to clean your Yaris that I bet it won't all FIT in the Yaris. It really is getting quite bizarre. How can you possibly need that much stuff?

It's what they call addiction? :p

EDIT - in all seriousness. This is THE END. No more until the last lot runs out. FYI, there are no duplicates (strictly speaking). I only have 1 polish, 1 shampoo, 1 sealant, 1 glaze, 1 glass cleaner, 1 liquid wax (bought last year), 1 engine cleaner, 1 tyre dressing, 1 wheel cleaner (threw the acidic one in the bin). The only duplicate is the paste wax - FK1000 and 3G; and the wheel sealant (the spray one is trash) hence the FK1000.

PERL is to fix the black plastic exterior, I have nothing to fix that, it looks grey. Polish can't fix that, wax can't fix that. PERL is the best on the market for it.

But yes, it is a lot, and NO MORE! I have everything for everything, well, apart from tar remover :p

Why do you constantly have to chastise others ?

It seems your day isn't complete unless you've inflated your ego by having a go at somebody.

Ooh it's been a while since we had a fight MrLOL!

I think its a fairly reasonable question, he now has more car cleaning stuff than the rest of us put together :D

To be fair, it's just a bit of banter? Anyone that's been on here long enough will be subject to a bit of ribbing - it's hardly a malicious comment is it?

Like I said, each product for different things.

Don't worry mate. I've been there too :)

Did you buy some drying towels too?

My kids love the snow foam lol

I have 3 drying towels already so no need for more and about half a dozen micro fibre cloths.

Lucky my car is black so tar is rather hard to see :p Otherwise you bet your bum i will buy some tar remover next lol

I recently topped up my wax coat about two weeks ago, but yesterday I noticed a few orange speckles on my rear bumper. I'm assuming this is just metal filings that have clung to the bodywork so am going to treat the whole car with IronX.

Only problem is I don't know if the filings are below or above the wax so will IronX work regardless or am I better cleaning off the wax coat alltogether? If so how best to do this?

if you clay/polish that area, it will remove the wax down to the clear coat, see if its still there after claying, and ironX (rinse) and then wax it again.

I used to have everything for everything, then realised it's not required as one product covers multiple tasks in most cases...

...Another pluig for Poorboys Natural Look Dressing. Use it on black exterior plastic trim, tyre walls, matte dashboards, glossy dashboards, trim runoffs etc!

It also smells sublime and lasts a long time compared to other products, especially on tyre walls.

Same here, if it's black and rubbery/plasticy - it's got Poorboys Natural Look Dressing slapped all over it. Smell is a bit strong for me but it soon subsides.

I saw that too but PERL seems to be just as well if not better received and it can be used both interior and exterior, just dilute to suit. It can also be use as a tyre dressing which means one less product.

PBNLD is all of that but minus the dilution. Not checked the price of Pearl either but I'd hazard a guess that it costs more too.

PERL cost £10 for 500ml

No dilution for tyres
1:3 dilution for plastics

I forgot if there is a different ratio for internal plastics.

That's not bad then I guess but the only thing I want to faff about with regarding dillution ratios is windscreen washer fluid and nothing else.
