Man of Honour
Basically CGNLTG is suitable for anything that needs to be given that"new look"
WD40 and an rag does a decent job.
Ok, this thread has been a great help... just got a few areas I want to ask about:
Cloth seats: APC cleaner to sort the marks on these out?
Exhaust tip - what do people recommend to do this with?
Rubber/plastic external trim (around doors etc) - Same stuff all you BMW guys have been using on your plastic engines? (I kiiiiid I kiiiid )
Managed to get another coat of Collinite 467s on today ready for winter.
Mine looks so deep and shiny too
Nope thats the whole engine, BMW had to put a huge plastic cover at the front to hide the huge hole due to not having a 6 pot.
I'm really impressed with it, with 2 coats on it looks great. This time i buffed it off a few seconds after applying it and it came up a treat. Last time i did it i did a full panel and left it on for a few mins.
Not the best photo to show the reflection i just took a quick snap on auto.
What cleaning products do I need to make my 8 year old Focus shiny again?
It's green. Has alloy wheels. It's lacking the "out of showroom" shine and the interior could do with a good clean.
I have at my disposal:
Bucket
Warm Water
Cloth
Any suggestions? Thanks!
Here's a pic for the sake of it:
Edit: I've also got sticky residue on the windscreen and dash. How do I get rid of that?
So far it's rained every weekend, so I've not had a chance to properly go over my car. As I'm doing 100 miles a day in it, it's *filthy*
