You need the Kent Q6100 extra large microfibre drying towel - dries the whole car without needing to wring it out and shouldn't leave any water spots. Starting with the windows helps.

A quick once over with detailing spray fixes that.

Kent extra large drying towel does the job for me after shampoo and rinse! Then like @Autoglym mentioned, I use some CarPlan Spray on Shine with a smaller microfibre towel to give the body a nice finish over those smudges and spots. All windows, and rear/front headlights (not even sure I can use them on this) I use Autoglym Fast Glass.

It's a nuisance cleaning the alloys on this, there's a flat groove where dirt always sits you can see where the pressure valve is, getting there and leaving it nice and clean when done is a challenge as well. Removing the actual tire would make life a whole lot easier to clean, I probably would if I had a tire removal air gun, would be out in minutes if not seconds.

Hi guys

Got a quick question. What do you guys use to apply polish and the same goes for wax? I used a MF cloth and it was a right pain.

Thank you

Foam/Microfibre wax/polish applicator pads. They come in pairs usually and can be bought from most auto cleaning stores.

Some aged crap/corrosion even Autosol won't be able to fix. At that point, new exhaust tips time.

little gentler on the hands :p

and on the exhaust tips...

A drill, brillo pad and Engine degreaser/wheel cleaner for the inside works like a charm. May take a few hours though depending on the level of grime :). Finish with autosol/general metal/chrome polish.

G3 applicator pads are my new weapon of choice :)

I got some "Dragon Breath" wheel cleaner over the weekend, and its amazing!! Very little work needed to really make wheels look very good :D

I actually went to go and find a really dirty wheel to try it on, ended up using my mum's mini when I was over that way to get some pics of the process. Just uploading/resizing them now and will update this post when they are up :)

I also bought some C4 trim restorer after seeing the "black" trim on said Mini. Will be attempting to use that at some point this week. It's meant to be the bee knees. Anyone here used it?
