Picking up the snow foam lance by Autobrite that seems to get much better reviews.

The machine sounds really good - I have always been put off buying a pressure washer given how many broke that my parents owned, but these seem to be of much better quality.

Do you know how long the hose is that comes with it? Can't seem to find the length anywhere.

Is it this one mate

Nilfisk C110 4-5 X-tra 110 Bar High Performance Pressure Washer with Patio Clean

• Makes easy work of cleaning tasks around the home and garden
• The perfect choice for automotive cleaning tasks
• Includes high mobility chassis with on-board accessory storage
• Powerful motor with aluminium pump
• Provides 110 max bar pressure
• Maximum water flow rate of 440 litres an hour
• Supplied with 2 nozzles, gun and lance, chemical dosing bottle, patio cleaner and 5m hose

If so its 5m in length! They aren't the sturdiest the hoses, I put a hole in mine pretty quickly after getting it stuck under a wheel a few times!

I purchased a replacement hose from here and its still as good as new: http://www.directhoses.net/

As for the machine, its a quality unit with metal fittings where it matters. Certainly much better than the cheap karchers imo.

On another related topic, for my upcoming birthday I have requested the Nilfisk C110 4-5 PC Xtra Compact High Pressure Washer with Patio Cleaner, Snow Foam Lance Nilfisk and Autoglym Pressure Wash (5 Litre) :) - curious to see how it performs...getting a little tired of washing by hand tbh.

I bought the Nilfisk Titan today (which is essentially a C120 with a longer hose and more accessories). Apparently the Autoglym Pressure Wash foams up well when in a bottle, but I'm not expecting the Nilfisk bottle to be very good, but I'll try it first, and if disappointed, order an Autobrite and some Magifoam.

Looking forward to trying it, the only pressure washer I've used to date is an old Karcher K2 compact, which should be a fair bit worse than any Nilfisk. Will be testing it tomorrow, weather permitting.

Would love to know how you get on with it all Robbo since I will be getting pretty much the same setup :)

I'll let you know! I expect the C110 and C120 perform very similarly in reality, I think the flow rate (which is the same) is more important than Bar.

What I'm most interested in is the Nilfisk bottle + Autoglym Pressure Wash performance. I've tried the Karcher 3 in 1 shampoo with the Karcher spray attachment and it was actually quite good but not as good as Magifoam from the pictures I've seen.

Best way to dry? No matter how fast i do it with my microfibre drying towel always get water spots drives me insaneeeeeeeee

You need the Kent Q6100 extra large microfibre drying towel - dries the whole car without needing to wring it out and shouldn't leave any water spots. Starting with the windows helps.

Use an open hose to rinse first. This will cause the water to sheet off rather than beading and sitting on the paint. Then just dry with the towel.

I do that, maybe I'm just not quick enough :p

Will have to see looks a bit bigger than the random one I have, cheers

Well, the Nilfisk is faulty. The blue bit at the end of the lance (where you attach things) pukes water everywhere!

Will be going back tomorrow.

They have a positive click to them when they are in. A couple of my attachments have a err locating pin almost that only allows them in at one position. Normally the variable spread ones.

I've tried everything and it's definitely clicked in as far as I can tell.
