Which I do have, but BMW brake pads don't give two hoots what you seal the wheels with, they sit on top! Of course it's easy to clean (look at the void in my pic above, I simply wiped it once with a tissue), but extremely tedious. Something that relatively dust free pads solve :)

ha your preaching to the choir. i took all 4 of my csl's off this week to clean and wax them. i know im going to have to do it again in 4 weeks

I know it's a lazy mans job but what are people's thoughts on "dry shampoo" for cars?

I've never been one for excessive cleaning but my wife got me some and it seems ok.

Dry shampoo! Throw it back at your wife :p Which reminds me, saw a guy with a CTR yesterday at the petrol station jetwash, gleefully scrubbing away at his car paintwork with the BRUSH attachment

Lol, I have yet to take a wheel off to clean it, never even considered it... until now :o

"Poorboys Bird ** Swear words must be fully starred ** Remover" is meant to be good but tbh it'll probably still induce marring

I just need something I can use to clean it off really. I don't have any general purpose cleaner. Got glass stuff and Shampoo but nothing to clean with between washes.

All I carry round is a spray bottle with a normal shampoo water mix and a QD. Spray the shampoo on and if necessary spray, wait a little, spray some more to soften it. It should wipe off without any pressure, if bits remain spray and wipe again

The absolute best way is hit water to loosen the poo, then gently wipe with a paintwork wipe and then water again to remove the loose buts left over. Cold water won't properly soften hard poo. Living on the coast I've tried many things and products and this is the only totally safe way.

Any one else used ArmorAll Shield? Used some after washing and claying the car and I have to say I'm pretty impressed! Gives a great finish with very little effort. No curing/buffing - just wipe on and wipe off. Cheap too!

Which is what that does :p you better use it as I got an infraction from saying the name of a product  let's hope the next graphics card doesn't have something similar in its name
