The leather parts of the Mondeo trim aren't exactly the finest of cow hide anyway, the shampoo brings them up quite nicely :)

I could easily spend 4 hours cleaning my car.
It only occurred to me recently that I've only seen someone else washing their car at home once or twice in living memory.
Then I realised that my neighbours must think I'm clinically insane.

I get those looks when I go out and spray foam on bird mess before returning five minutes later with a pressure pump to wash it off. No one washes their car at home here!

The looks when I finally get around to machine polishing should be interesting.

I got my first compliment from a dog walker last week, women in her 40s saying my car always looks really nice.

Only ever see my neighbour wash her car but she uses fairy liquid and a kitchen towel. Old 02 fiesta though, rusting like crazy.

Is there anyway I can stop dash/console buttons on my A3 from working when I want to clean my car? Every time I try and clean the dash and interior I end up putting some Christian radio station on and then phoning everyone.

Ah didn't realise that was the case!

In which case, pull the fuse relevant for those parts of the dash?

Long as you put the fuse back in afterwards all will be fine. The labelling is via a pull out card in BMW cars where the fuse box is, yours may be similar?

I'd assume it's either there or in the owners manual? I'll have a look the next time I'm in the car.

I'll be able to do a much better job cleaning if I can actually touch some of the buttons.

You get that all the time in Aston however my concern is with the people who pull the daftest moves just to get an Instagram picture. Even had one person take a selfie through the sunroof :o

And then you get the typical, can I borrow it, do you wana swap with me etc etc crap. I have really nailed my fake laugh now.

Im rather unimpressed with my 3 year old karcher K4 dying on me, its started weeing out water and now the damn thing refuses to power up. Annoying ive only used it 10 times.

Anyway, I think nilfisk is the jetwash of choice still, which is the good model to go for? I dont need any fitting as I want to use my karcher fitting and iirc you can get adaptors nowadays?? Dont wanna spend much now tbh.

Hopefully this fits here,

Can someone point me in the right direction / recommend a touch up product for stone chips etc? Does the halfords stuff do the job?

Many Thanks
