Spent about 3 hours cleaning inside and out this weekend. Went over the whole car with zaino Z8 which gives a lovely glossy "wet" look.

Also found it looks really good on the wheels too !

The tyre dressing is only the turtlewax stuff, but for the price it does a good enough job for me !

Really should put a coat of polish/wax on the ST24, but everytime i get the car dried off and think "meh, looks good enough".

:(

Bigger than mine

AP sells a 6 pot kit that ups it a whole 2cm to 365mm

but its 2k and the re-purchase cost of the disc is well over 50% of the initial cost. Cant see the point in the cost really, for an extra 20mm and an extra piston.

Guess if i was tracking it regularly, then the improved resistance to fade would be welcome. But it'll only see a trackday once or twice a year at most.

This weekend I did this...

Did it using...

Unfortunately the pics don't do justice. The acrylic makes the paint look really wet. Very good for light colours :)

I used that same Werkstat kit but I dont think it made the paint looks any wetter, just ridiculously glossy and shiney. I am not complaining tho :)

Bet that lot cost a fair whack. Where did you order it from?

What backing plate have you got for the G220?

Just using the standard backing plate that it comes with which is the W67DA D/A Polisher Backing Plate for 6.5" and 7" pads.

Ordered from elite and i4detailing, both are on DW.

I got my G220 unused off DW at a slightly discounted price over retail from the personal sales section.
