I've not washed the Civic properly since about November, but i'm actually looking forward to polishing it when it gets a bit warmer:o

Last proper wash and clean was in late Dec for me too, looking to claybar that mofo in the spring!

I really need to get mine washed, i think its only had 1 since i got it, but now its either snowing or ******* down, so i can't get out there to do it, and the buggers well filthy as its not been done for months.:(

Not like you to be a forum n00b!

I would comment on the 'anything better to do' bit, and point out your audiophile speaker fetish...but I won't sink to your level ;)

haha.

Next time I clean my car I'm probably going to do a full on snow foam job and probably take the wheels off too - I'll try and get some photos on here for everyone to enjoy ;)

all of this rain today is because i washed my car and polished the wheels and my brother polished his car yesterday

we should have texted Noah in advance

are they angel eyes on the focus?

Nope. Just Philips 501 sidelight bulbs :) Also got Osram Nightbreaker bulbs but they're off in the photo...

Nice to see it aint just me that gets far too caught up in detailing! Posted a few weeks ago on DW after it's first proper clean, sadly after doing 500 miles each week it's covered in salt and slush each monday morning :(

My first/last proper go at it, still not got round to using the Carlack on it and doing a full day at it due to it never being above freezing

Astra looks very nice, especially like them in white ;) Keep up the detailing :D

Cleaned mine today.

Washed it, gave a few areas with fine scratches a good going over with 4-5 coats of Autoglym SRP.
Then the whole car was treated to a coat of Poorboys black glaze.
Finished off with a layer of Poorboys Blue wax.
Just as I wiped the final bit of wax off, it started to rain :argh:

I wished happy valentines to my car and then came inside :p

Will get some pics in the morning if the weather hasn't made a mess of it, I was very impressed with the finish aswell! :(

So, this morning I finally cleaned my car after months and months of neglect. Gave it the full SRP and Collinite treatment. The water beading never gets old.

Then went to a local village for a spot of lunch and some quick photos :)

Finally managed to get mine washed today as well, was lovely and sunny, then i only had the front and back to do when it went dark and ****** down, typical, still i got it finished. :p

Cleaned mine today for the first time in about 2 months.

Although now you can clearly see the scuff on the front :(

Just needs some 17s or 18s now :)

Thanks but I'm happy with the car at stock. May consider it when the tyres on at present are worn but they've got a bit of life in them yet. The rears are wearing alarmingly quick though (Eagle F1).

i left the oil filler cap off my car for the drive to work the other day.

engine oil everywhere and a simple wash wasnt enough to get it off

time to get the polish/wax out at the weekend

Careful Tom, it's a slippery slope ! ;)

I know, went there with the Focus and must have spent over £1k in 'ST170' mods and struggled to get that return on the kit when it was time to sell. So I think I'll avoid that particular bug this time round.
