What do people use for cleaning inside their windscreens? I'm not talking chemical but cloths, no matter what type of cloth/whatever I use I can't get a 100% streak free finish and at night time it's driving me up the wall.

I use one of these, glass cleaning cloth one side, buff/dash cloth the other. Never leaves streaks.

Few quid off ebay.

I don't bother with using any products on the inside glass any more, no matter what it will fog up as dust and film develops on them over the months and will require a wipe anyway, so save yourself a few quid and simply wipe down thoroughly with a clean damp MF towel first, then wipe to a streak free shine with the glass side of the double sided cloth. I always keep that one in the car.

Waffle weave is normally recommended.

I just use a normal MF cloth and Done & Dusted Quick Detailer. Not had a streaking issue with it.

So I just bought my first car yesterday: a 2006 Toyota Prius T-spirit with leather interior. Got a real bargain on it at £2500 but it's just been sitting in the former owner's drive for months without any care (for some reason he seemed keener to drive his 2015 Range Rover) and it really needs a good clean both inside and out and I don't know where to start.

So does anyone know of a handy car cleaning guide that also lists all the products and equipment you'll need?

Just read a few pages back on here, your request will have been answered several times :)

I would not waste money on glass cleaner, you'd be better just using a dry MF cloth. If that doesn't work then use vinegar and newspaper the traditional way.

I've just bought a new car that's worth looking after lol. So i need some new cleaning bits, i've got some autoglym polish and zymol wax, i don't have any good wheel cleaner though, so talk to me about wheel cleaners. Merlins blood or Valetpro Bilberry wheel cleaner? Both look good but the bilberry is a couple of quid cheaper. Also looking for a nice leather cleaner / treatment for a white / grey (BMW Oyster) leather interior.
