Dealer washed my car for free (I told them not to bother).
Many scratches. Huzzah!

I need to get the rear bumper and rear left quarter panel resprayed anyway at some point. It's been very badly resprayed at some point (somehow didn't notice when I bought it) and it looks a mess :(

I hate it when they do that, the amount of times I've stressed to them "please don't wash my car", only for them to say "your car is ready sir and we've even washed it for you" FUUUUUUUUU....

Washed, clayed and waxed car again today. Went abit more in depth. Rained a hour later.

I've switched to Auto Finesse products and I can't rate them highly enough along with the Bouncers Black Edition - Check the Fleck Wax as you can really see the pearl in my paint now.

All my AG has now been binned.

Don't bother with their snow foam. Utter crap.

Don't get me wrong, I would hate the dealer to wash my new car now, will put a big sign on A4 on top of the dash when I take it in for a service next year but at that point in time for the Yaris, I really wasn't bothered about the paintwork condition in the end as I had grown a little resentment towards it. Yeah it was partly my fault for not being careful enough but it still as a result of it so the 2 times they washed it I really wasn't bothered, especially 9 months ago after the deer episode. Swirls paint work was the least of its problems. Yes, that's hair from a deer's arse.

Thanks I dropped wife at work at 0730 then a quick 20 min pre detail maccys breakfast and i finished at 1130 but thats with waxing wheels and tire dressing also. Going to get some AG Aqua Wax next week to try cut down on time on most washes.

what wax do you guys recommend? metalic black paint.

something that I can apply by hand and buff it off without too much trouble.

I really like Collinite 476. Apply it evenly and not too thick with a microfibre cloth, wait about 5 minutes, buff off nice and easily (as long as the sun isn't shining and baking it to the paint) and lasts months.

Yeah can vouch for the Collinite 476. Beading just as well as it did when I applied it back in December. Excellent product

Just don't apply too much of it and think you need a thick layer, makes it an absolutel nightmare to buff off
