(Though you do need about 50 quid of pads and couple of different sized backing plates)

AH i see.

Its a nice looking product, i may get one of those in the future.

For now though the DA Attachment and pads cost £78 all in. I will report back at the weekend with how well it works.

I have also ordered some paint touch up kits. I have am absolute ton of chips on the bonnet and doors and plan to attempt at repairing them. this DA should help remove the paper marks left from rubbing them back after repair.

Cant wait!

A girl at work with a relatively new Scirocco turn up yesterday with big mess all over her car - a real good splattering. I said that she might want to get it removed quickly as it can damage the paintwork. She mentioned that it happened on Friday. Well its still on now and I can imagine her paintwork is getting damaged nicely.

Right, my new snow foam lance and lambswool wash mitt turned up this morning. What snow foam do you guys recommend?

I have only used Autobrite Magifoam but it's certainly very good.

You can just use your regular shampoo in there but it won't give you the same consistency of foam nor dwell as long as a dedicated snow foam.

I'd rather just get the proper stuff so it saves me having to take my car down to local car washes. Will eventually be investing in a DAS6 too :)

Meguires Hyperwash is my favourite so far. But I have been using some id4deatailing foam most recently to get rid of it, but it's pretty decent too.

Then ordered some GYEON Q2M FOAM to try that.

Any recommendations for a strong alloy wheel cleaner? I've neglected my white alloys for long enough and need to get them clean so I can get them sealed up.
Obviously I understand the stronger cleaners are generally acid based which isn't great for the wheels, but I only intend on using it the one time then once they're sealed up reverting back to a safer ph neutral cleaner.

Iron-X or similar
