Guys desperately need some help with some tar issues. Went down a freshly tarmac'd one lane road and it's left one god awful mess down the near side.

There are probably 100's of tar spots up to the bump strip down the side and then more above but of less quantity , oh and the wheel arches :eek:

They've turned completely black where the skirt meets the arch , like a thick layer where the tyre has flung it on.

It was waxed a week earlier Collinite and sonax bsd on top . What's the best way to remove it, are there any super strong tar removers , going to need to was and polish there area again I imagine as the tar remover will dissolve the wax?

It's certainly too much for a clay bar too

@edit I've already tried a Simonz tar and insect remover from halfords and didn't do jack!

Gents, looking for some advice!

Just picked up my new car (2013 640d Black Sapphire) and whilst it's 'dealer clean' it's not clean enough for me. When I give it a wash, clay, rinse and wax I'm looking to do a tiny bit of paint correction as it has a few very light swirls and minor holograms.

Can anyone recommend a light (none abrasive if possible) polish? It'll likely be done by hand rather than DA.

Meguiar's M21 Mirror Glaze Synthetic Sealant for example?

What clay (mitts are the go-to these days by the sounds of it?) do people use? Having washed my fez and given it a "stroke" :p it feels pretty rough. Guessing it's not been done in the 2 years its been on the road.

That's not correction and the filler will just come out after a couple of washes

Not with a good wax or sealant on top.

I use the G3 clay mitt. It really is quite impressive. Just wash the car and keep it well lubed with some clean soapy water :D
