ExactlyCould argue that your foam is having to work harder removing normal dirt leaving stubborn dirt behind. Removing the easy stuff with a pressure washer then targeting the stubborn dirt directly with the foam seems more logical. Imo anyway.

No, Surfex HD is a degreaser.Isn't Surfex an iron containment remover though, basically a diluted wheel cleaner?
Anyone else get depressed by the state of other peoples paintwork, sadly ive spent a lot time in rush hour and traffic jams in this glorious weather, and the state of some peoples cars is shocking, and im talking fairly new cars, that are clean. I guess its a result of people just using the local hand carwash places a little too much, but some of the paint work you see is so swirled/marred its crazy.

I’ve never used it for a prewash, I use it for my arches and tyres however and door shuts on minging cars (As a degreaser followed by new grease)
Haven't really seen other people's cars up close , probably a good thing from what you've saidAnyone else get depressed by the state of other peoples paintwork, sadly ive spent a lot time in rush hour and traffic jams in this glorious weather, and the state of some peoples cars is shocking, and im talking fairly new cars, that are clean. What blows my mind is that I have often seen a Lambo or Ferrari at the car wash attached to my gym. The last Ferrari there was an 18 plate! Who on earth takes such a car to a cheap car wash place.
6am car wash, nice and cool out.....
I own a Karcher K4 had it for a good few years but it's on its last legs, whats the good unit in the £100-£150 mark
Mainly car washing but cleaning the patio etc
Thanks
I did mine at 6am this morning, or leave it til this evening when it's cooler as people sayReally wanting and in need of cleaning mine this weekend, but this hot weather makes cleaning awful. Would you guys wait until we get some cooler weather to attempt cleaning?
Drag your finger nail across it, if it catches then it'll be a pain to get out. If you can see primer then you'll need a smart repair or if it's light scratch that barely catches your finger nail then pop down to halfrouds and get a tub of g3 scratch remover and a microfiber cloth and with some elbow grease you'll get it out completely or hide it really well do it won't stand out.Noticed a scratch on my bonnet How do I go about attacking this?
