think im gunna try tackle my car today/tomorrow, hasn't been cleaned inside for about 10 month and out side for about 5 month
last night we went messing about on private land and dirt tracks, never seen a car so filthy and stinks of horse **** so defiantly needs a good valet and a wash
went to see how much it would be up at polish peoples , 50 quid

What method do you guys use (step by step) for cleaning your glass? No matter what I try I can't get rid of the smear marks once it's dried
Are you using a completely fresh MF or glass cleaning cloth? if not then this will be why.
To get no smear marks or "waves" (when moving around direct sunlight you see them) clean glass as normal then use a second FRESH MF or glass cloth to swirl around the glass to get rid of the smears/waves. do it once all the cleaning agent has evaporated of course to ensure the fresh cloth does not get damp.
If the cloth gets dirty over time wash it in soapy water, not washing liquid or whatever. Normal soap = best result

Simoniz is a slightly foamy spray so spray onto cloth unless you like a temporary snowy cabin

good glass cleaner and a good glass towel good option would be
mark V Window Sheen Glass Cleaner along with Marvel Glass Towel
or the dodo juice glass towel all can be got from carnaubawaxshop
You can use NEWSPAPER to clean outside of glass too, it does a very good job and saves you having to re-use a good MF/glass cloth which could otherwise be used to clean the inside glass.
Try it, you'll be surprised!
Of course newspaper works best with spray glass cleaners, not creams/juices/waxes.

I just washed my car and want to wax it but on the back of the triple wax car polish bottle it says Do not use in hot conditions.
Why is this? It's hot today I guess
The Polish/Wax will "bake" to the bodywork, and become very difficult to remove.
Because a hot body (corrrrrr!) with quickly solidify the wax causing high difficulty in its removal and also the wax is made to naturally dry over the course of tens of minutes. In sunslight it dries much quicker and probably won't settle into the paint as properly I guess.
