You want one of these

HASKYY 1x Smooth Rubber Eraser Wheel Pad I Vinyl Decal Sticker Remover I Remove Decals in Minutes I Safe & Reusable https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08BG3D...t_i_DM5Q6HNZEYBJHT576FF8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Managed to get similar of my wheels. Does no damage to the surface.

I think this would probably work but the reviews mention how easy it is to burn the paint which I'd probably end up doing so will give it a miss.

Anyway I've ordered some Gtechniq W7 Tar and Glue Remover instead as recommended by cleanyourcar when I rang them earlier.

Tried it on mine and had no issues. People just have no common sense with tools like that.

Going to be needing my alloys refurbed soon, still got to find somewhere around Manchester area.
Are there any ceramic coatings for wheels that are easy to apply and long lasting.
Always used Poorboy's wheel sealant and been happy I guess but never tried anything else.
I hate cleaning wheels.

Gyeon q2 rim or gtechnic c5 wheel armour. Reasonable priced.

Hi guys,

I've ran out of quick detailer. Is there a bucket load I can buy/a dilute available? Would I dilute it with deionised? Can I use the liquid from my dehumidifier? :D

5l is great, thanks - I wonder if I am asking the right Q though. Is Quick Detailer the best "spot cleaner" for things like bird poo etc?

If you’ve got a good wax or similar on the paint, then a quick soak with a detailer will do the job. Sometimes they even come off with a pour of water if not left on too long.

Thanks - I'll commit then. The car is clayed and polished/waxed with Ultra Deep Shine and then covered in AG Rapid Ceramic - so nothing 'OTT' but it has lasted very well over the winter months. The car is barely used though TBF.

That’ll do it, as long as the rapid ceramic was applied relatively recently.

My colleagues must think I’m crazy when I’m using my water bottle in the car park to wash off recent bird poo.

So it looks like I've got PPF on my car, washed it last week and looked great for a day or two. What products would you recommend on a car with PPF? Just finished a bottle of Zymol auto wash so need a shampoo of sorts. Also anyone know if you can you clay and polish PPF?

You can get dedicated PPF shampoo which essentially has some fall out remover within it, I assume PPF being softer than clear coat can leave it susceptible to having iron road deposits embedding into it.

I'm not sure polishing PPF is a good idea seeing as polish is an abrasive for removing microns of harder clear coat, and again PPF is soft. There are PPF coatings which I assume are designed to adhere to the softer and more flexible PPF surface.

I would look up the PPF manufacturer and follow their maintenance guidelines. Some of these PPFs have self-healing abilities and you wouldn't want clay and polish to risk that.

ONR (Optimum No Rinse Wash) - it's around £20 for (nearly) a litre but used at 16:1 it ends up being a reasonable and dirt cheap QD.
Can also use ONR as glass cleaner, drying aid, interior cleaner etc.

For bird poo, i tend to use a sopping wet (old and/or cheap as chips) sponge or kitchen paper towel and leave it on for a few minutes and lightly mopping it up and then bin it. Seems to work well and doesn't require any product or leave any marks.
Autoglym Bird Car wipes are pretty good as well but it's an expensive way of doing it.
