That's the one my new one replaced. Its good, but I've got the smaller one and in hindsight its a bit too small, can just about manage the Golf, but I want to dry it with the minimum of contact. This new one I can just put it down on the car, pat the cloth and lift it and the car is bone dry!I believe his towel is no different to the following other than his branding stamped onto it.

Purestar - Twist Drying Towel
Purestar Twist Drying Towel The Purestar Twist Drying towel is available in both a large (70 x 90cm) & medium (50 x 60cm) sizes. This microfibre drying towel is manufactured using a twisted loop fiber as the core of it's towel as found in the ever popular Gyeon Silk Dryer. Manufacturedwww.cleanyourcar.co.uk
I looked at that too, but the one I went for is a couple of quid cheaper, and its the one that Forensic Detailing recommends. Yep that codes doesn't work for everything, think I got a couple of quid off my order using it.Have also just ordered one of these (Looks to be identical to what V_R has) It may make Sams towel redundant unless I am doing both cars in one go.
If you try the Discount Code - FORENSIC you should get 10% off In2Detailing - I know he is in some way affiliated.![]()
Purestar - Duplex Drying Towel
Purestar Duplex Microfibre Drying Towel The Purestar Duplex microfiber drying towel we believe is currently the best drying towel available anywhere in the world. This microfibre drying is manufactured in Korea using the very latest microfibre technology. This is a twist pile microfibre dryingwww.cleanyourcar.co.uk

...How do they clean the barrel of the wheels with such large brake discs? With dental floss? Can't imagine much else fitting between them![]()

I bought the one his towels as well, after using a Glart branded one from Amazon for about 6 months. The difference is worth it. Removes a lot more water and makes drying the car that bit easier.Yeah - I wanted a new drying towel but missed delivery cut off and then realised Sams Detailing was local to me so I nipped down and picked one up.
Otherwise I would have gone for the Purestar one as it’s the same only a couple of pounds cheaper!
Let me know what product/how you get on - glass is my final frontier (excluding alloy wheel sealant).Going to use the glass sealant which arrived at the weekend and see how it performs. Always been wary of products like that due to wiper juddering but going to give it a go.

Here's the car this afternoon after driving over to a park to take the little one, bloody covered in bugs already!![]()

I’ve actually got quite of few other products now and I’m generally really impressed. The wheel and tyre cleaner especially. The amount of dirt it removes from the tyre is much more than my meguiars stuff I’ve just finished.

Yes its not at all bad at all, and if I had got the larger one in the first place (which in hindsight, I should have!) then I've be perfectly happy. I just found myself wiping the car too much with the little one trying to dry it. Which I'm trying to avoid in every way, not just drying. Ah well if I had 70 quid to spend then I'd be all over it too. It’s a great towel and as I have the large one it easily tackles the entire car without becoming over saturated.
I do however have a £70 gift vouchers for Cleanyourcar.co.uk so think I will pick the Duplex version up too as a nice to have.
Thank you. I do take a huge amount of pride in it, even if it is just a 6 year old VW, and not even an R at that! (which someone once said to me, lol).I love my GTD but obviously would love a GTI and seeing yours reminds me of that every time! I know the feeling but only up close you notice those otherwise it looks incredibly well kept on the road I imagine.
Will do! If the weather is ok tomorrow morning I’ll apply it then. It’s Sam’s Detailing Glass Sealant.Let me know what product/how you get on - glass is my final frontier (excluding alloy wheel sealant).
Spent today - having washed the car yesterday - running over the car in Ultra Deep Shine and then a few hours later coating it in Rapid Ceramic. Looks super shiny - very pleased; albeit still very, very, very mad at the chip in the alloy!
