I have a detailer coming over to do it now.Whatever you use, as long as it doesn't involve too much 'rubbing', gotta keep that paint looking fresh.
I have Gtechniq W8 bug remover and have been impressed with it. Recent drive to Alton Towers and back left the car covered. This seemed to do a really good job after a couple of minutes dwell. 99% of them came off as I rinsed it.Anyone recommend a none damaging fly remover?
So I applied this earlier. Glass cleaner, clay mitt, rinse and then glass cleaner again seemed to really bring the windscreen up great. Will do! If the weather is ok tomorrow morning I’ll apply it then. It’s Sam’s Detailing Glass Sealant.
Why would you get this over say a well priced karcher k4 compact?cant find much info on it, except 2 videos on YT showing its performance, looks really good
I've asked them how long the battery lasts
but being USB, can can attach a battery pack to it ?

It looks good though![]()
No rain, but my wipers have never been so smooth. So I applied this earlier. Glass cleaner, clay mitt, rinse and then glass cleaner again seemed to really bring the windscreen up great.
Application was really straight forward and apart from a few spots where I applied too much it came up really well. Had to flip the microfibre fairly regularly to ensure it buffed off cleanly. Instructions say to use the sealant to “clean” your wipers to help with judder so I done that too.
Heading out shortly and it’s overcast so actually praying for a bit of rain!
I'm sold! Thanks. No rain, but my wipers have never been so smooth.
Sam’s Detailing Glass Sealant. Was £15 I’m sure.I'm sold! Thanks.
Edit: Which product?
I'm in it purely to help wiper judder.Never understood glass sealant. It's not like glass is permeable!
Ah, fair enoughno mains power unfortunately
I use soft 99, it's pretty good, hardly need to use wipers in rain at speeds above 50mph. Minimum judder too.
I have both, only used the compound the once so far. Both are good so far.
