I've had a quick look on ECP, I've been eyeing up the dark wax for awhile but the price on ECP is the usual. Am I missing a code or something?
Not all products are discounted but the two I mentioned appear to be a fair bit cheaper than elsewhere, it states no reduction but they are usually more expensive.

The wax should be £21 on ECP and is £13

Speed Barrier is usually £16-18 and is £11

I have checked CarParts4Less - Most of the range is cheaper but the two I’ve mentioned are cheaper on ECP.

Weird how they work!

shame they changed the Fusso series, i was going to buy it for my current car and use it on next car, but ill be doing from light to dark, and im not buying both

The differences between Dark and Light Version’s of Wax from Soft99 Website

Waxes for DARK paintwork contain more fillers. Thanks to that, they more effectively hide little flaws which ruin the end-results. Paintwork reflects the light more evenly, which improves the shine and the mirror effect.

Waxes for LIGHT paintwork contain more cleaners, and sometimes even a really mild abrasive particles. They help to remove invisible residues and oxidation during application, and more effectively bring back the initial color of the light paintwork.”

still dont fully understand, i even watch an LONG video lol

my current car is light ish Blue (Ford Vision Blue)

my next car im hoping to get and colour, will be Candy Red , which is semi dark

i got thinking about my headlights as ive put a new one in and wanted to clean them up (not restoration)

I would normal just clean them when i do the whole car, and treat it like the bodywork
so, mitt and bodywork shampoo

but im not sure if this is the best way, if i wanted to just clean these up, do i treat them like glass (windscreen) or plastic ?

hmm...

I just bought some chemical guys hyperwax, then a DA polisher and new polish, to do it justice.
Tried without, with SRP, but it's not shiny enough, too many swirls still. Also tried some old chemical guys cutting compound I have, but it's gone very watery.
When there's some better weather, I'll try again.

Guys would really appreciate some input on what's the best product for me to buy to remove some tar spots on my Liquid Yellow Megane RS. Noticed a few at the weekend when washing by hand & prefer to do my own work so would really appreciate any advice on how to remove them safely!!

Pretty much any tar and glue remover should shift them, look at CarPro, Bilt Hamber, Gyeon etc.

Not that we can particularly wash cars at the moment but I wanted something to make wheel cleans easier and that bit more enjoyable…

IK Pro Foam 2 will be arriving tomorrow.

I’ve read plenty of reviews and I’m used to a fair bit of pumping :D which seems to be the main con mentioned…

Mainly for when I can’t be bothed with the whole Snowfoam routine and tend to just use a citrus pre wash applied by a pump sprayer.

has anyone bought "Fusso" before ?

asking because mine was not sealed when it arrived and the top was off, and its loose, it wont tighten up or "clip" back on ? and theirs wax residue on the inside of the tin and cap
but the sealed bit you have to remove to get into it is still there

Given the current hosepipe ban did anyone grab and trial any waterless or rinseless options? Got some McKees sat in the basket but not pulled the trigger as keeps raining at the moment and scuppering any car cleaning.
