Speaking of which, my Bosch AQT120 died on me, some sort of leak internally I think. It keeps repressurising over and over, no leaks from the hoses but there is a leak internally. Annoying, I always drain it and keep it in the garage so it doesn't freeze. It lasted 2 winters and all this year, but just died on me this week when cleaning the bins.

Was looking at

due to it being : repairable, metal quick releases, compact size, comes with everything I'd need including snow foam lance.

Your pressure washer doesn't need to be connected via a hose. Most should work by simply connecting any static water source (i.e. a bucket with a hose from it going to the pressure water) which you can then top up with a hose when it runs low.

This is of course a technicality as you are not using a hose in the normal sense but (despite a PW using less water than normal hosepipe) probably still seen to be 'wasteful'.

Worx? They any good?

no more pressure than a garden hose, but can use it from a bucket to help rinse car a few times

WOW, That GLACO from Soft 99 is GOOD STUFF

first time in the rain and no need for wipers ! I've now taken mine off ! (joking of course)

no idea why i see squares in the morning, but once car is equalized to outside? it disappears, so i assume its normal

The Glaco worked a treat about say 50 MPH, water hit the windscreen and its in balls, and rolls of the car straight away, amazing stuff !

lover than 50 is still beading, and actually you can still see quite well, but not rolling off really

im going to buy the other one designed for slower speeds, as i think that will be more effective for me, as i don't go on the motorways to and from work.
so in theory, the lower speed one would be better under 50, but when i do over 50 i'd still get it rolling off because I'm traveling faster , but might not be as fast, so win win ?

so do i recommend coating your windscreen in wax? YES !

Showing as £28.98 for me

Same. But it was £16 odd earlier and has been for months! I bought 5L about 8 months ago for £18.

No doubt it will restock and go back to the cheaper price? Guessing the seller has sold out and it’s moved to a different seller at a high price.

Not used personally but heard good things about AutoBrite - Wheels and Tyre Cleaner.

It appears cheaper than Britegel on Amazon, but if you aren’t in a rush I’d say hang on as Britegel is usually £17/19 on Amazon all year round.

Britegel really benefits from a good quality detailing brush when agitating as it foams up wonderfully.

I've used britegel the last few washes and it's great stuff. Clings on for ages and no need to rush around like you would on a warmish day due to drying out.

I'm in a hose pipe ban area but I've found a self service car wash that works late in the evening. Nothing beats a midnight detail in the dark.
