Yeah we could really do with those self service bays that they have in the states.our supermarket ones that you can use yourself, well there isn't one for many miles , as I'm out in the sticks, the big supermarkets are hand wash ones not self service, which is a shame!
ive just did a search for self service car wash
and there is one , not really local, but local "ish"
but i dont understand what all this means :
High specification 'Buy Time' Jet Wash. Six selections available.
Minimum charge £2. Average charge for all programmes £5
- Wheel Wash
- Shampoo
- Foam Brush
- Pressure Rinse
- High Pressure Rinse.
- Hot Wax.
i thought it was just a "jet wash" you can use to rinse your car off, so how is this lot going to work ?
also, id take my battery snow foam, brushes etc
so i can snow foam, use jet wash, then wash car, jet wash off, done
Funny when you mentioned that it threw me back to a Simpsons episode where Bart tells Homer to throw hot wax on the man. Must be an Americanisation lolcheers Gilbert
no idea what the "hot wax" setting is out of a pressure hose i must say !
Yes but I just thought it was just water in the pressure washer ? Lol
The tyre and bumper applicator is pretty cool. Top tip on taking your own water lol. Gutted paying a fiver to fill the buckets lol.also i watched this months ago, could be appropriate
if anyone doesn't know, "Sam" Detailing lives in the UK
This lot turned up yesterday, will hopefully give it a try in the next coupld of days!
Years ago I bought a 25L plastic jerry can to use at the jet wash. The look on the taxi drivers face who pulled up the second I'd pulled into the bay when he saw it was somewhere between "are you ******* kidding me" and "I'm going to stab you in the eyes" so I never bothered againThe tyre and bumper applicator is pretty cool. I didn't get the video he took two 'sealable' buckets full of water, nothing can go wrong there.Years ago I bought a 25L plastic jerry can to use at the jet wash.
presumably you could fill your buckets for free. ... or the pressure washer is unmetered.Bucket, Mitt and Shampoo
