"The Crazy" Part II: Another non-relationship thread

Reminds me of Elliot and "the crazy" on scrubs.
She's a-whole-nother level of Crazy.

Well, actually, she isn't. But she's much more likely to blurt it all out at the wrong time. Lucky for her though, she's a pretty character in a popular sitcom so her blurts are endearing and get her the guy more often that not

Sigh, my pictures are in the rogues gallery wotsit, and my sig leads to tons of photos - I've got a nice face, I think (but don't dwell on it much). Next!

I haven't actually been out with my good camera in ages, I keep having too many adventures to take time over photos (when you're busy /doing/ exciting things it doesn't really occur to you to record them) or indeed carry anything bigger than a compact.

I had a bit of an obsession with portraits for a while yeah - there's so much interesting stuff going on in people's faces :) Plus I like getting that narrow depth-of-field effect for the blurred background.

Doesn't have to be expensive, I have a Fuji Finepix S5500 and love it - I gather the latest version (S5800) is of course improved and still pretty cheap at about £130! Otherwise the S5700 and S5600 must still be available for even less...

TBH, if you haven't learned the rules of composition and got a good eye for a picture with your compact, you won't magically get a good photo with a more complicated camera.

Some of my best pictures are from compacts, but I can't get some of the blurry effects straight-from-camera, that's all. You can always throw them on with photoshop afterwards.

Whatever your camera it's worth just getting out there and taking pics :)

EG, these were taken last week with a little compact Sony Cybershot:

This thread has successfully made me realise that my earlier suggestion of a Dating Forum would be a terrible idea. :p
It just wouldn't be good, would it? Ratio is baaaaad. It'd be lots of male OPs with no replies and one or two females with hundreds of daft/drooly/pervy replies...! Not to mention a load of homo-eroticism between the blokes 'pretending' to be gay and then loudly professing not to be...

Good on the girl's ego, bad on the boy's chances. Bless'em.
