Post a pic of yourself & we will let you know Percentage wise what chance you have of him showing up :p

He's got two German Pointers - lovely looking things. But can't really be left alone overnight so get ferried to family when he's out...

Tsk again malc30! Though I'm in the rogues wotsit thingy. Though I'm very secure that's not an issue either...

Basically guys the point is I KNOW I should just chill.

And I KNOW there's no issue here at all really.

Just too many panic-synapses are firing and it's doing my head in. Grrrr.

When I was meeting up for a first date I told her I would be leaving at 6pm so give me a call when you're back in the house and we can confirm where to meet.

I heard nothing all day until 5.55!! All went well tho so nowt to worry about. Wait till this evening. Dont call him again and leave the ball in his court.

So, we've not met in the flesh yet, but have had some really long phone calls etc - get on like a house on fire, very in tune, etc.

Last week he had a horrendous time; his car was stolen and later found gutted and burned out, his brother broke up with the missus and turned up on his doorstep requiring emotional support and somewhere to stay, a couple of projects went awry at work messing up several deadlines, and to top it all off his mother couldn't look after his dogs so he couldn't come over to see me last Friday.

So since then he's been rather busy and really hard to get hold of. Understandable, yes?...................

Why waste your time with someone who can't even reply to a text or call, sounds like a load of excuses to me. Sorry, but then again my opinion counts for naught as I'm not in your situation.

**** him and get on with your life.

Edit: Or as above stop fretting and wait till he calls, if he doesn't then get some lambrini and get wasted :D

Well thank **** for that, just got a text message, written in a really hurried way, saying there's massive drama at work, he's been in a constant meeting all day, and will ring as soon as possible.

Phew.

Sara relaxes.

As said by the contingent, the man is probably very busy.

Men tend to be notoriously rubbish when they are preoccupied, what with the "can only do one thing at a time" thing too.

I tend to not text when I am busy doing something and/or late because I am under the stupid impression that those few seconds texting could be better spent getting whatever i'm doing done so that I can resolve whatever the text would be about in the first place. (This paragraph is not guaranteed to make sense and I will not be held accountable).

Just chill, preoccupy yourself with a hobby or past time. He is obviously interested in you - lets just hope he's not always this busy! :p

(The circumstances you've posted about him suggest that he is just going through a busy patch)

Good luck!

You should have just let him text you. If this bloke didn't text you why bother with him? Plenty fish in the sea. NEXTTTTTTTTTTTT :D

Oh god, imagine if you two get together and he says he wants to go out for a drink with the lads...

You know what to do Sara...

Elliot: I can't take it, Carla! I cannot hide the crazy a minute longer! And the worst part is, Paul is this sweet, perfect guy who actually wants to take things slow with me, and I'm just this big mountain of cuckoo who's about to erupt and spew molten crazy all over him, and he's gonna die like this.
Carla: Calm down, Elliot. Do what I used to do - find people who don't even know Paul, and then just let it out in little bursts.
Dr. Kelso: Good afternoon, ladies!
Elliot: You know, when I was a kid, I got a sunburn like that and just peeled all the skin off, put it in a pile, and ate it.
Dr. Kelso: Good Lord!

Teehee!

I'd be off out having a drink with my lads, probably :)

Have totally given the wrong view of myself on here already I see :D I can't help a bit of crazy, it's just being in the dark about timings and whether he can actually make it or not so close to the actual date that gets me...

Told you.

Still doesn't mean he'll turn up though.
