The Crew....PS4

Did you ever try the beta Chris?. I tried the beta and didn't like it but was wondering if it has improved since then and worth a buy now.

You can change the "Assists" it is very TDU/GTA in the way the cars move, although much better if you use the bonnet or cockpit view as you don't get the camera swing effect.

I really enjoyed my first 4hrs on it last night, a lot of that time was just driving about, exploring and doing the challenged that pop up as you drive along..... the map is big and the terrain/weather is varied.


I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it.


Edit to add: CEX give £17 for it so even if you buy it for £25 and don't like it you can throw it at them and it will have only cost you £8
 
How have they improved it from the BETA?

I loved the TDU games, both where amongst my most played on the 360, but I thought the BETA for this was horrendously bad.
 
9hrs on this now, just got to lvl 10 and unlocked the pvp side, finished 3rd out of 8 in my first race against other players...great fun really enjoying it.


Anyone able to help me find where I can set-up or join an existing Crew please?

Picked this up today and enjoying it so far, still not brilliant mind :p

To join a crew or start one up click in the right stick in free mode.

I didn't say it was "Brilliant"..however what I did say is it was fun...
Really enjoying this game, spent a couple of hours just driving around with a couple of randoms last night...unlocking the dealerships and admiring the scenery...Pikes peak is great, Vegas is cool.

found a couple of cars that are 30% off at the moment too.



Great fun
 
Don't get me wrong I played it for over an hour last night and enjoyed the game. Changed some of the handling settings which made it much better.

I think it has improved, my not brilliant comment was meaning it's not a goty contender :p

Going to put more time into it today but it's a 6/10* for me at the moment.

Edit: took a point off for the amount of catch up that's in this game.

Was thinking about picking this up as it's now cheap...

But I HATE rubber banding, can't stand it when I've worked hard to build up a lead and it was for nothing!

Make a big deal of it if you like.
However It's a very enjoyable game to play though.

Some nice touches and good visuals.

Tbh it is just good fun driving atound looking at stuff.
 
Dude I think you need to back off of the game lol. No one is replying to your posts, it's £25 already in places like Game for christ sake. They messed right up with this one.

He's every right to like The Crew, some people like it. Seriously a classic example of internet hate.
