The Crew....PS4

Watching those vids above, it looks like complete pap lol!
The environments look so bland.

This is on the current consoles?!? It looks like a PS3 game.

Pile of dog mess.
 
Why can only Playground Games (turn ten for engine, thanks Ps3ud0, what ever would we do without you?) get this type of game right recently? Horizon 1 and 2 are great. Just copy them for all I care.

Only sold two copies of this (one on each console) at work this morning. Even Driveclub did far, far better than that.

Just watching some videos, the visuals are horrendous. I think the worst thing might be the static 'projection' texture from the headlights instead of using dynamic lighting. Unbelievably lazy. If I'd known it was this bad I'd have thought twice about putting it on sale at all. :p

That is another thing that turned me off it the gfx on ps4 look like current gen its that bad which is a shame really I was looking forward to playing it.
 
Not even sure whether to try the rental or just stick it straight back in the post. Even if I spend 1 hour on it to try it - it's 1 hour I have wasted if it's as bad as it looks.

The concept of this interested me when it was announced but looks like another failure

Eh? Turn 10 dont make FH (outside of the engine) - learn your developers as someone from Playground Games frequents these forums...

Actually youre right, but tbh you should at least be aware who made the game you enjoyed so much so you can look out for them rather than congratulate/reward the wrong dev.

Surprised by the knee jerk though - I wasnt the one who was moaning that only one dev can get a game right, R* did a decent job of it too I found...

Ivory Tower was founded by ex-Eden devs so yeah the Crew is the next TDU (in spirit) unfortunately. Eden still exists but its a resurrected indie dev after being closed down by Atari

Adjustment of an inconsistent top speed issue for some car’s specs.
