Beta starts Monday. I'm very interested to hear folks experience of it. Hoping it gives one the same kind of feeling as Test Drive Unlimited 2, which I loved.
 
Looks good but just 4 days of beta? Don't know how large a download it is but it will take me more than a day to download it so it's not worth the effort. Roll on September when my cabinet gets fibre.
 
Beta has finally launched, to my love, i have graphical glitches making it unplayable.

Trying to fix this.

Anyone else who is playing, you can remove the 30fps cap by going into

C:\Users\username\Documents\The Crew

Opening "PCScalability" in notepad and changing the fps to what you desire,

Please note i changed mine to 120, and removed Vsync however i still seem capped at 60fps. But it is still better than 30

This looks like it'll be brilliant fun with a group of friends, do you have to be invited to the Beta or can anyone get hold of it to try out?
 
Been watching this on twitch.tv. Either the guy playing is not very good or the game is a bit tricky. He's got to deliver a car in 60 seconds the other side of Detroit. Unusual GPS marker in that the route marker is in the sky above you, like a monorail.
 
I can't do the very start of the game. It gives me 15 seconds to go straight towards the checkpoint and I can't get there in time even with boost :/
 
I have a feeling these are just some BETA bugs. I had no issues getting to any checkpoints and i would not consider myself a good driver, nor a bad driver.
 
This looks like Ubisoft's take on Need for Speed. Haven't seen anyone "crewing up" yet to see what difference that makes.
 
I think its a bug with my controller. I watched someone else do the same part and they are driving at 100mph+ and I'm only getting 70.
