The Crew

I have one word for this demo: Awful.

I have another word: Bloody.

Feel free to arrange in any order of your choosing.

I find the amount of negative feedback about the beta astonishing really.

Is it just me who thinks ubi have out done themselves with this??

or is it just a un-popular style of game. I remember a lot of people disliking TDU2 but i thought that game was fantastic.

Would be interesting to know what you guys find bad about the game itself, Beta testing bugs and flaws aside. What is it about the game that you dislike

Partly this and partly it's just call to hate Ubisoft at the moment if you're a PC gamer.

I loved TDU and this just feels like a better version of it, can't wait for the full release!

Edit: I didn't even realise it was developed by a lot of the people behind TDU.

I'm liking the game apart from some of the UI elements it all seems a bit of a mess at times plus I have no idea what I should be doing now as the Drag race challenge is impossible :D I'm guessing I need to level up my car or buy a new one?!

Also I'm not getting along all that well with the way the cars handle, I may give it ago with my wheel tonight to see if that is any better. The main issues I feel are to do with wheel spin at high speeds as well as the cars seemingly feel like they turn via the rear wheels

Also I have a spare key if anyone would like it :)

I recall a lot of the "hate" around TDU2 came from those who played TDU(1) to death. TDU2 added lots of new features and broke / missed a lot of others. The handling model was also different which made no real sense.

I enjoyed both but preffered 1 due to how the cars "felt".

The Crew looks good but will be a console purchase for me.

not had invite email yet :( booo!!!
loved TDU2 :D didn't play 1 though. also thing that annoyed me the most about TDU2 was the corruption/loss of save game files  was such a pain having to re do some licenses. made a habit of making a copy every time I save the game... glad I did as it came in handy on several occasions :p

east coast to west coast in 39 mins xD got some jump gates in there too? ;)

I've not had an email about getting into the beta but after watching a few streams last night I'm a little disappointed. It certainly looks like the watchdogs engine, the cities looked very much like it and although I loved watchdogs it's not what I was expecting from this game.

With Drive Club & Forza Horizon 2 out this year on the console side I'm not too bothered as both of those look amazing..

Hopefully I'll get to play the beta as it may play better than it looks on stream.

Yeah! The lead designer on this was the lead designer on TDU2

Got my beta key for this this morning. Looking forward to giving it a go. I do hope it's nothing like NFS as they have been bland the past few years

Absolutely nothing like NFS the only comparable part is the asthetic modification of the vehicles reminds me of NFS underground 2 on ps2!! - aka very good

Also guy's who havent got into the beta, this popped up after closing the game

took a snip shot of it

looks like there will be more beta(s) before the full release.

hope this brings a bit of joy to some folk

Just drove from New York to LA via Vegas. Quite an amazing drive really, I kept crashing as I was driving down the strip because I was looking at the scenery :D

About 50 mins. I did linger in Vegas for a bit though looking around. Also game crashed once :p

I reckon if you did it flat out in the beta cars you could do it in about 35/40 mins.
