needs punkbuster imo

i know its not perfect but its better than whatever they use
 
I assume those with CrossFire know with Radeon Pro, to use the Bioshock profile? Tick Triple-buffering, I also unticked (Force Triple-Buffering (OpenGL) since it's not needed as it was checked by default. With vsync on 1920x1200 you'll get constant 60fps on highest settings and no flickering.
 
Heard it a few times now, seems if you want to get the most out of the single player campaign, best to play it on hard (or the second hardest option)

May need to have another play through...

This guy's video makes the game look awesome if not a little hard:

god don't say that in here, everyone will automatically think you are an easily pleased, brain-dead consoles lover, at least that is the reaction I pretty much got when I said I play using an xbox pad! :D
 
with the option, i personally would not play with a pad, but i know some people do:)
I bought some usb extension cable so that i could use kb/m from sofa/bed.;)

I can't get round to finishing the game tbh, as i am being consumed by AC Brotherhood( which i do use a pad for btw).
I'm probably around 6 hours in now, and the last few hours have been great, it does take time to get going! though it doesn't look as good when it gets dark imo
Also, i haven't played MP for a few days, has the patch improved things?

I see my PC as a hig res Xbox anyway tbh and having a bad back means sitting at the desk is agony after a while. My Tv is 1080p so same res as my monitor but much bigger..
 
Can safely say I won't touch crysis 2 again, no replay value in it for me and multi is COD with invisibility cloaks, not my thing.

I still have the FPS drop issue after 5 or so minutes of gameplay online, it's getting really annoying. My brother can run it fine, and he has two 5850's but has to disable crossfire so the flickering doesn't occur, and he also doesn't get the random FPS drops that i get, and i'm running a 5870 & a 5970 in my system, so i reckon it's the 5970 causing the problem.

I'm going to take it out of my motherboard this afternoon after work, and see if that solves it.
 
Wes, why bother for one crap game? Take the game 'out' not the card lol

And people who play FPS games on a TV should be ******* shot in the head! What you do with car games is your problem

I know it's the game, but whenever i can play for that 5 minutes, i'm top of the leaderboard and i end up eventually leaving the game because of the FPS drop, i want to own for more than 5 minutes. :p
