***** The Crysis 2 Thread *****

Looking forward to trying the demo & most likely buying it also.

Videos for it are looking good, hope the mp does it justice

Am I right in thinking mod tools out of the box ? & any word if mods/maps will be playable mp ??
 
Seen a lot of ps3 footage for this, looks very bland and is no where near the best looking game on console as crytek once said im sure. Has there been much pc clips released? im sure this game will hopefully show the massive gap between console and pc for visuals at this moment

I've been keeping an eye on Crysis 2, but i'm pretty sure all the footage are on consoles. Either way, i'm waiting for the PC demo so i can make up my mind on whether to get the game or not.

yeah have seen the occasional pc screen but thats it, seem to be keeping the pc version a secret to an extent. a little worrying :(. to be fair its almost a definte im gonna buy it anyway!
 
Definatly going to get this, probably will wait for a bit for prices to come down though like I am with Dragon Age 2. This year is looking great for PC gaming =D

Yeah from what ive been reading (and listening) Crytek say no DX11 footage has been shown as yet... only a few hrs to go now as the PC demo is been released in FULL PC DX11 glory... me happy!

There is an argument that the PC game will be better than it could have been BECAUSE of the consoles, due to the fact that they make so much money from the console market that they can afford to make a better PC game.

Besides console port doesn't always equal awful. Just look at GTAIV & San Andreas.

That's down to opinion, although Crysis 2 is cut down from Crysis 1 in most, if not all areas.

crysis 2 hasnt sold a single copy yet because its not out. so lets wait for sales numbers before we make such claims. who wants to bet that it will flop sales wise?
